I bought this product directly from Beckert in 2022 and it actually worked exceptionally well to remove odors in home carpets and it does the same for vehicles. And I’m told many rental car companies use the product to remove odors like tobacco smoke etcFor my vehicles I used the 20G tablets in 8oz of water + a battery powered aerator with the hose set into water (for bubbles agitate the water). The water movement ensures the entire tablet dissolves.Municipalities around the world use CLO2 in water treatment plants. There’s even US Govt studies you can find that have been completed with CLO2 as a virucidal and it is used in controlled environments of certain food production lines as well(poultry etc).Depending on Gram strength and dilution rate in water, it has been used as a sanitizer or disinfectant or biocidal. The latter is effective in Mold remediation applications both in liquid (vertical surface contact) and or gas (airborne) forms.It came to be more widely known in the public after professionals treated Anthrax with CLO2 (don’t ever attempt use of CLO2 outside of instructions included with the product)!
