Great product for a great price
I lived that 2 came in the package. For someone who was trying to get their spouse to get a colonoscopy, this was a great pre test to make him make an appointment. Easy to use and functional. Highly recommended.

instantly showed a dark positive
let me start by saying that I really love this home testing kit. It was nicely packaged .instructions were simple and the results were immediate. Sadly, I do have colon cancer. Send me well wishes. I have a surgery in two days.

Company was responsive in addressing Quality control problem with 1 out of the 3 vials.
One out of the three vials in the 3 pack did not contain any testing fluid! It’s quite hard to trust the result of a test like this based on what was contained and what was missing in the boxUpdate: I have increased my rating to 4 stars based on the response from the seller. They offered me a full refund and are having their quality control department investigate to make sure my issue (one vial missing testing fluid) is not repeated in the future. I am confident they took my feedback seriously and care about product reliability.

Ordered 2 kits weeks apart, BOTH DEFECTIVE DO NOT PURCHASE!
Product contains 3 vials. The first order had 1 vial dried up and was not usable. I ordered a replacement, and two of the 3 vials was dried up and not useable on the replacement. DO NOT PURCHASE. This item is either old or has not been stored properly. Waste of money! BEWARE!

Great for hypochondria!
I’ll be blunt: I’m a hypochondriac. My latest fixation is colon cancer due to the increasing rates of diagnosis in younger adults. I’m not old enough for regular colonoscopies, nor do I have any health markers that qualify me for colonoscopies at my age. Plus I’m not going to go through the bowel prep unless my doctor tells me that it’s time for a colonoscopy. This kit does my brain a world of good through the reassurance of a simple fecal test. My husband and I plan to do one each year until we start regular colonoscopies. We still see our GI doctors annually, take psyllium capsules daily to per our doctor’s recommendation, we drink lots of water, and we work fiber into our diets regularly to reduce our risk of colon cancer. Even if this kit provides a false sense of security, we’re being proactive enough in our daily wellbeing that we’ll recognize them if any red flags arise in the future. It’s just nice to have some sort of tangible “security blanket” to help me combat my anxious thoughts whenever my hypochondria hits. You really can’t put a price on peace of mind.

Cheap and convenient, except the paper is terrible.
Cheap convenient home test. But the little paper for catching your… Specimen is terrible. Plan to have to use something else.

The kit is straight forward and easy to use, hardest part is probably just collecting that specimen. The results, I honestly can’t judge how accurate it is because there’s no professional lab and it’s just ultimately a test strip test, but I think this could bring some peace of mind to those who are not sure and are debating if they need to consult their doctor or not. But of course, always consult your doctor if unsure

I decided to try this kit to scan myself for any GI issues.I will spare the details but this provides all the materials to make 3 home tests.Basically, you do your thing on a special paper you stick on the toilet bowl (flushable after) and you poke your poo with the supplied vial. Shake the solution and apply 3 drops of this poo solution to a test similar to a pregnancy test.It takes a few minutes to get a + or a – line.I immediately got a + and it kinda freaked me out at first.I feel great and I was wondering if I had issues inside. I read a bit about these tests and asked my doctor about them.A + does not means you have cancer. It means that a very small amount of blood was detected in your stool. It could be caused by multiples issues, like hemorrhoids, polyps, etc…..and cancer is also one of them.Apparently, if you had hemorrhoids in the past, this will trigger a + since the detection threshold is very low.I might retest myself and eventually get a genuine scan at my doctor but don’t freak out if you see a + on this. It doesn’t mean that you are dying

Personally, I don’t really have it in me to initiate with my doctor any of the more invasive or embarrassing methods of testing without knowing if I really need it. This test is a great piece of mind as it tests for a very small trace of blood in the stool so you’ll know if you have any reason at all to get further testing and your doctor involved. The test is super easy and quick to do at home. I find all of this stuff intimidating and honestly the whole process felt very straight forward and not as gross as I had thought it might be.

I love these kits that you can use at home to self monitor for things that wouldn’t normally be checked unless there was a specific reason. This kit is extremely easy to use and what I especially love is that the way it’s set up, you don’t have to get gross with anything. The tube and test kit is designed so there is no direct contact with the specimen. Very easy to use, read, and dispose of cleanly.

Steps are very easy to follow, pretty much the same as the take-home kits from the doctors except you do the test at home instead of mailing or returning the tube to your doctor. You get the results in minutes and it’s a simple + or -. The 3 tests kit comes with everything you need to do 3 separate tests. It’s a good piece of mind to have and relatively cheap to conduct for older folks plus this is very convenient compared to visiting a doctor
