Nice rain barrel
We were pleasantly surprised when we received our rain barrel. It is flat on the back side so snugs up close to the house. Installation was a breeze with the addition of the downspout diverter spout (which has to be purchased separately). Installation was quick and easy. And, although it is light weight, it really does look like a barrel. Very nice product.

Excellent quality and look very good
We got three of these. Great price for the amount of water they hold and they look really good. Visually super nice. We got the dark brown ones. The flow from the spigot is slow, but works pretty much as we suspected, still a very usable, gentle stream of water. One fairly decent rain and they are filled, so expect that. We use them to water plants and the plants LOVE the rain water. In the hottest part of the summer (we live on the Texas Gulf Coast) there is not enough rainfall to keep the high use ones filled so we fill it with municipal water a couple of times during the summer, which gives the tap water time to off-gas most of the chlorine before we use the water. We have found we need to secure the top screen debris traps because we lost one in a heavy rain, never to be found again. I wish there were made to be fastened down a little tighter so we didin’t have to jerryrig a solution, but we figured it out with only one screen loss. One of the three seems to have a slow leak, although we cannot identify where it is. I suspect it was something in the shipping. It still works and it is such a slow leak it doesn’t really affect how it holds water. For the most part they work great, look very good, and are an easy and reliable way to gather rain water at a reasonable cost.

The company makes a great product and stands behind their product
I ordered one rain barrel for this area only to learn I needed more rain barrels to accommodate the down pouring rain coming to this area of the yard. I was pleased with the first order then ordered more for this area. I have a sup pump in one barrel which has a removable lid. The pump moves the excess water through a garden hose to the front of the home where drainage is better. The directions for installing the faucets and the overflow spout were easy to follow and easy to install. The company has provided support for the products promptly and effectively. I like the flat back as they do not takes up as much yard space as the full circle barrels.A great company with many great products.

Nice product and aesthetically pleasing
I decided on this rain barrel for several reasons. First of all it has two brass spigots that you can connect a garden hose to them. Also, the product is made of a heavy plastic that sits on top of a stand so all the collected water is available. The barrel is well made in the USA. Another consideration was that when we are experiencing heavy quick rainfall we sometimes got water in the basement. Since the installation no water in the basement! That was a big bonus. I would not hesitate to buy this rain barrel. We’re saving a valuable resource and it feels good every time we fill up the watering can.

Rain barrel
Works great. Easy to set up. Flat back lets it sit closer to the brick.

Works great, looks good
We love the way the barrel looks. We had five days of rain immediately after buying this and it worked perfectly. We have it positioned flat side against the house with the gutter down spout stopping just above it. Some things I’d like to mention though; take care screwing in the brass spigot. Best to lay the barrel on its back and make sure the spigot is straight as you screw in. It took me about 4 tries getting it straight in, and it would drip. Be careful because the brass will start to strip the plastic. But once I got it perfectly straight, no leak/drip. The instructions also say hand tighten, but it leaked, so I did use a wrench to turn it one complete turn after I couldn’t hand turn it, and that solved the leak, but go easy. The one negative is the spigot is really low on the bottom, no room to attach a hose as is, so set in on top of something. Either buy the stand accessory made to go with it, or we used paver bricks that matched our pavers to set it on to raise it up enough to attach a hose. Overall, would recommend.

Spigot does not thread easily
I was very careful to thread the spigot into the barrel, but I still had a lot of problems. I layed the barrel on it’s back as the instructions suggested. I made sure it was not inserted at an angle and very slowly I began to thread the spigot into the barrel. It was smooth at first but then it started to become tight and went in at an angle. I was not applying much pressure. I slowly backed out and tried again, and I did this several times, each time more careful than the last, and each time it just got worse. The plastic was easily stripped by the brass spigot threads. I believe I was being very careful. I finally had no choice but to force the spigot in at an angle and I could only get it in about halfway. There is a small leak from the threads. I attempted to patch the leak with epoxy, unsuccessfully, perhaps because there was still water in the barrel. It’s not that bad, though, and the barrel stays pretty full.I cut my guttering and reattached the diverter to lead the water into the barrel. This only took about half an hour. Because the spigot is placed at the very bottom of the barrel, I put the barrel up on cinder blocks (purchased for a few bucks at Lowe’s) so I would have enough space to fill a watering can. It was difficult to bring the can close enough to the spigot, so I attached a 3 foot hose ($5 at Walmart) and this seems to work fine. This is my first barrel so it was a bit difficult to adjust to the small amount of water pressure but I have learned some patience. All in all I’d say it does the job.

Love the design. Fits flat against our home near gateways. Great quality and super easy to set up. Pleased with addition spigot and screen design. Easy to clean and store.

These are great so far, they’re easy to install and look good. We like the way they nicely tuck in beside the house and they seem to be good quality. We built a stand for ours for ease of water flow. We’ll see how they last over time, but would recommend trying these for sure.

We bought three of these from a local vendor about two years ago. Loved them so much we decide to purchase them online when our local vendor no longer carried them. Great barrel. Flat back, fits nicely against the house. Spigots fit tightly, no need for caulk or plumbers tape. Easy to connect to other barrels.

Great rain barrel! Easy to use, light when empty. Has stood up well to Edmonton weather for the past year. We did move it inside for the majority of winter
