UPDATED: When it can be turned on, it seems to work great!
Everything seems to work great, though I can’t measure its effectiveness at killing germs and bacteria. The most difficult thing though, is to get it to even go into the two cleaning modes. The button does not work as indicated in the instructions, and it’s difficult to get it into the “blue” shorter mode or the “orange” longer mode. I have to keep pressing the button until it decides to engage in one of the two modes. When engaged, I really like the versatility to use the lid without the box across sheets or pillow cases, etc. Great concept, I just wish the button were functioning as it says it should. UPDATE: one day in April 2024, I didn’t have my USB charging block with me and noticed that the power strip nearest me had a USB port for charging. I discovered that the cleaning cycles go on just as described when a charging block is not used. I have increased my star rating to 5 stars now.

Good for sanitizing
I love using this for my phone, keys and in my photography studio. It gives me the peace of mind that germs are gone and items are safe for the next newborn I shoot. It’s easy to use, just plug it in, put stuff in and turn it on. I do wish it worked without being plugged in.

Peel it off! – Large enough for most modern phones
It’s large enough for most modern phones even with a case. The light array seems well spaced out.The phone charger may be a bit of a gimmick,. it didn’t work on my phones with a case on. Though that’s not really surprising as you usually need a more powerful charger when cases are used. The biggest “issue” is that the reflective surfaces come with a protective film on them, this is great, except there is no mention of it anywhere. It should have stickers telling you to remove them before use and it would be great if it had a tab or something you could pull. It’s pretty difficult to remove.

This is the second one. The first one I had to send back.
The first one wasn’t working right. It wouldn’t do the shorter cycle it would only do the longer cycle. So I sent it back and decided to take a chance on ordering it again. This is perfect for what I want it for, which is sterilizing the inside of injection pen cartridges. It has the right range of UVC light and that UVC light does go through to the center of the cartridge where your liquid would go. So I’m happy.

Stopped working completely after 4 months
Worked great but after 4 months it’s completely useless and won’t sanitize anything. Button refuses to turn on. Sometimes I can get it to do the long 8-minute sanitization, but this thing fell apart quickly.

A Step in the Right Direction
The weight and appearance of the box is reassuring; it looks like quality work. For me to give this a five star review, however, it would need to be bigge, have an option to extend the exposure period, and have a louder done notification (oran option to increase the volume of the noise it makes when the cycle was complete).I had to move the box to my desk so that I can repeatedly push the buttom until I’ve gone through sufficient cycles. Another reviewer noted that it took three cycles on each side to complete sterilization. I am trusting the reviewer’s research to be accurate as I don’t have any other research to support product claims.I need a larger version of this product available at an affordable price to more easily sterilize masks. I could wash my masks daily but they would wear out more quickly and they would be out of commission during the wash and dry period. UV lights are significantly easier if they work. It is easy to sterilize our phones and keys but not so easy with masks. The photo shows that my mask is a tight fit in the compartment and I take it out and rearrange it for each of the six cycles I use to sterilize it.

Great size, rack, truly UV-C
It is much deeper than most “phone sterilizers” and so it can be used for other things besides phones. If you care about actually sterilizing you want to be sure that you have UF-C and this one does. I confirmed that with a 3rd party UV-C testing card. One bonus is that it has a clear removable rack and the bottom is mirrored. I think that combo helps get the UV light get all around the items that you are sterilizing. I also like that I can choose 2 different timers (3 or 8 minutes). The only thing that would make me like it better would be to have the sides mirrored too.

Very practical and doesn’t break the bank
For the price this is an excellent UV-c box. Has three functions: 3min, 8min, and wireless phone charger. Don’t need the wireless charger. According to my UV test card, it’s bright enough. If you are putting a surgical mask in it, you need to run it twice, turning the mask over. This is because the mask blocks the UV from the mirrored bottom, so only one side is exposed to the UV. I would have to spend a lot more money to get one with UV led’s on top and bottom.

A la hora de probarla no se sabe si ya hizo su función de desinfección. Otra cosa no dicen que clase de celulares se pueden cargar. No están claras las instrucciones además de que están escritas en una letra minúscula.

This product does not produce uvc with with 250 to 270 nm wavelength which kills virus…only normal uv light of moderate strength equivalent to normal sunlight…nutshell waste of money..advise you to buy photochromic colorimetric card before to test uvc strength of any such product…i bought it late so money is wasted
