Radios seem strong enough but cannot perfectly match other radios frequecy to this one.. I was able to match the frequency of my midland and actually be able to transmit from Samcom to midland but when transmitting from midland to Samcom nothing is being received. Just something to check out before purchasing should you desire to do similar transmitting

Purchased 6 of these fpcn 10s two years ago for use on our farm. They’ve been with us outside, in and out of barns, on tractor, etc in all kinds of weather and They’ve performed very well. Broke the original antenna on my personal unit 8 months in, replaced with Nagoya whip which increased the range a bit. Range excellent, sound quality good, durability excellent. Recommended.
