Easy to Use
I had one of the first generation Lenovo laptops to have a fingerprint reader and it worked around 10% of the time. The fingerprint reader on this lock, I’m happy to report, works 90% of the time on the first try and 100% of the time with two tries. i bought this lock because the contacts I wear to the gym make me farsighted and if someone spins the dials on my cheap combination lock while I’m performing herculean feats of strength on the gym floor, I have to remove my contacts to open it. Fortunately this only happened once but it was sort of memorable as there was an amateur policeman in the locker room who watched suspiciously until I opened it. Anyway, I don’t expect to have that problem again. This lock is also solidly built and foreboding looking. The app is easy to use and gives you the ability to share the lock with mutliple fingerprint owners/users.

I have been using the Pothunder Fingerprint Padlock for quite some time and couldn’t be happier with my experience. Works but not without issues
Once you get this lock paired to your phone, it’s easy to manage fingerprints and remotely unlock with Bluetooth. As far as the fingerprint reader on the lock, it’s not very forgiving about positioning so I added my fingerprints for the fingers I use twice each. This helped noticeably. It is slow to unlock when you press your thumb on the lock– 3-4 seconds. It often takes more than one try.I would not use this on something outdoors or something that you need an extremely strong lock on. The shackle does not latch on the open side, it only locks on the attached side. It would be pretty easy to pry open with a small crowbar. I also don’t think it would be all that happy at being exposed to the elements long term.I bought it for use at the gym, and it’s perfect for that. I don’t have to worry about remembering a combination and messing with that to get it open, nor keep track of a key. Note that it does NOT have a backup emergency key, so if it stops unlocking with fingerprints/app or just straight up dies, you will have to cut it or pry it. Battery life seems really good and it’s easy to charge.I’m guessing that all the biometric locks at this price point are largely the same performance-wise and with backup unlocking.I don’t regret buying it and it works well for my purpose. Just don’t expect stellar performance.

This lock is perfect. If you don’t want to throw your glasses on to see a Daisle on a traditional lock. It’s very easy to use and recharge. I’m so glad I made this purchase works great for me at the gym. A couple of women at the gym already have asked me where they could get it so I’ve referred them to this particular lock.

Impressive for what it is.
This is not going to keep out a hacker or someone with a small hammer. This is to keep honest people honest. I’m using it to keep a cart locked in a work environment.Pretty impressed with the app and the fingerprint reader. Battery life, so far is phenomenal and the ease of use with app or finger just make life that much better. I will probably get another one for Gym use. Even though gyms are notorious for break – in’s, my wallet or phone is never in the locker and I have never had any worries with a basic lock. “If someone wants something you have, a lock isn’t going to stop them.” So, again, this isn’t a beefy high security lock. It is more a medium/light security lock that excels at convenience. %100 match for me.

Okay so I bought it new and once I unbox it, no wrap over the box and honestly it felt like it was used and u can see the lube on the left side of the metal which is odd, but I wiped it off, and on the bottom right side there’s a scratch idk where it came from. honestly it’s still a great lock but I’m not sure about the price if it’s used when paid for new! Good responsive when unlocking which is great, pretty ease of use, sturdiness seems to be good. Reason why I took out 2 star is due to boxing without the new wrap or tape to show that it’s new or not, and due to the lube and scratches when received
