Awesome bags!! You need a chamber vacuum
I wanted to keep some beans and rice stored for long-term emergency food. I own the Anova Chamber vacuum and thought these bags would be great. When ordering make sure you look at the width and length of the bags to make sure it fits into your vacuum. I sealed over 100 lbs of beans and rice and it went really well. The only thing to be careful of when you are stacking up your products for storage is if there’s a sharp edge, it can pierce the bag which lets all in air so you have to redo it. If you’re looking for a very high-quality bag and you have the correct vacuum system these are fantastic! There is a convenient tear corner for when you are ready to open the bags up too.

OK but trouble vac sealing effectively
These bags are nice in terms of their 4.5 mil thickness per side, but are difficult to seal effectively. We use an avid armor US32 vac sealer and sometimes the bags dont complete seal. I know it because of the thickness as I believe the sealer works up to 7 mil thickness so we are pushing the limits.My work around is to run the bags over to a stand alone bar sealer and hit it a few times with that to melt/seal the bags. You have to work fast in case air is seeping back into the bag but if you use oxygen absorbers it should be OK. Just a hassle.
