Great when it is needed
Let me start by saying that like many people, I sometimes don’t get a product until after I find myself in a situation where said product could have come in handy. Recently where I live, we experienced a power outage between one day and 7 Days. I was amongst the people who was out of power for 3 Days. During those 3 days, life was a little inconvenient. Because of my situation, I need to stay connected to the outside world. Having a radio like this is wonderful because it will help. But added bonus of the solar charging is great so that if the juice runs out, you can get more thanks to good old regular sunlight. Although the flashlight won’t do me any good personally, I am sure that for those with working eyeballs, it will be much appreciated. The fact that it has a battery bank for your phone is a plus but it is not the main reason why I purchased it. Personally, I think a dedicated battery Bank will do better for this situation. I also like the fact that it has an SOS siren. The thing is loud. Definitely works. All in all, I would say get it. Yes, there are other similar radios on the market with less features or that cost less. However, this one is made Solid, it is light, it is easy to use, and for those who don’t have working eyeballs, it is completely tactile so a person who can see can use it even with their eyes closed.

Great for Emergencies and Every Day Use
When it comes to portable electronic devices, I prefer those that don’t require batteries that have to be recycled at the end of their useful lives. I purchased this solar radio in the unlikely event that it would be necessary to survive an emergency. However, I use it almost every day to follow various talk radio and sports stations while sitting outside in the sun. Its antenna is sensitive enough to pick up all of my favorite stations, and its speaker system is excellent. I particularly like the blue battery lights that indicate its level of charging, and the crank system is easy to use and definitely extends the life of the battery charge, although I would recommend using the crank to charge the battery from 0 to 100 percent. It would take too long and probably wear out the internal components quicker. My only criticism of this device is that it does not have a wired earphone connection to quietly listen to the radio around people. Other than that, this radio is worth the cost.

Nice but I was mildly disappointed
The device is aesthetically VERY nice. The finish is high quality and so is the handle.The only issue I had was the COMPASS is USELESS. The compass does not work. It rotates randomly and sometimes points north. It’s also a little crooked, almost as if it wasn’t installed correctly. The compass definitely brings down the overall quality. It’s like they put a lot of effort into the product but then cheaped out on the compass. I know not many people use compasses anymore, but this device is meant to be for emergency purposes and a compass may be needed in an emergency situation.Lighting – very good lighting. Lots of lumens.Sound Quality – good but not great. It is quite loud for its size.Features – I like SOS feature. It sends out a sharp siren that’s hard to miss. This feature is similar some smartwatches that allow a siren. It has a light under the solar panel, which was unexpected and I’m not sure what it’s for.Ease of Use – very easy to usePortability – it’s a little bulky but overall doesn’t weight much. The handle also makes it easy to carry. Weights exactly 1.1 lbs.

It’s very slightly bigger than what I had anticipated but it is still a wonderfully compact size and easy to use! I would buy it again. Great value for the price!

Great Product
The day I got this radio, I had it on for a bout 4-6 hours total that day. And it still had 2 or 3 lights lit up! That same night (after not charging it once) I accidently left the reading light on all night (about 9 hours), and the light was still on! Now I know this can weaken the battery, but im still impressed! Now here’s a really impressive part: the radio was completely dead, so I decided to do ONE single crank to see what would happen. It turned on instantly. So I gave it about 5 more cranks and it was on for over a minute, and if I hadn’t turned it off, I’m sure it could have stayed on for much longer!As for money, I think this radio is one of the cheapest radios that is actually high quality! It’s easy to use, it has many features that will be very useful in case of emergency! The dials are easy to turn, it can pick up signals from pretty far away, and it was definitely the best choice.10/10 reccomended!

Great little emergency radio
This radio is compact but packs a lot of punch in it. Flash light has two settings, one a flash light style direction and the other to light up the room. Has an option to do ambient light by glowing from the inside. Multiple options to power with solar, crank or plug in usb. Has NSEW compass on top, SOS call. The radio sound is really good. I was able to connect to stations immediately without antenna on FM, AM required antenna. Weather radio was clear and easy to locate station for our area. Battery was fully charged when it arrived. Highly recommend this little gem. I live in a hurricane prone area so it will come in handy!!! I highly recommend!!

Every household needs one of these
This Emergency radio is a must have tool in emergency situations. No batteries required. It worked extremely well for when we had an ice storm, and the power went out for 2 days. kept our cell phones charged, has a flashlight as well as a radio to help keep us informed on what was going on around us.

Great Emergency Radio!
I just replaced my 25 yr-old crank radio w/ this product … such an improvement!! Love that it also has solar pwr., AM, FM, & Weather stations, variety of flashlights, & maybe best of all … a charger for my cell phone! And it’s much more compact than my old one! (It also has a siren, but I think the only way it would be heard is if someone were less than 10′ away, & with no other noise.) Highly recommend! I purchased a 2nd one for my son, & will probably order more for friends & family. 💜

After fully charging the radio, I let in run to determine the battery life. After five full days and one full phone charge, it was down to one light or 0-25%. I can’t comment on the quality or effectiveness of the solar charging (though I find these rarely effective on any product). The crank charge seems to work well and is surprisingly quiet compared to other radios I have tried. Sound quality is also very good. No complaints.

This thing is revolutionary, and pretty well made. If they made a version with Bluetooth and a better speaker I would love to know – I would get that too! A lot of smart stuff going on here, sure this will save or rescue lives. Pretty impressive!

This is a useful emergency item to have around and I am highly satisfied with this product. There are similar products which are priced cheaper but I voted for the bigger capacity battery and compact design.
