Easy and effective
This product is easy to use and very effective! We placed it at the top of the sliding closet door. It easily flips to secure, and flips back to open. No more worrying about the kids getting into the closet! Small and easy.

Very easy to unlock. You just flip it back and you can open the door
It does the trick. I have a sliding glass door that doesn’t lock anymore. This little gadget is easy to install and offers peace of mind

Safety and easy to apply
When I moved into my new condo, I didn’t realize the sliding glass doors open on both ends. So the rod that was in the inside track was useless To prevent somebody from breaking in or opening the other sliding door. A coworker told me about these. They came overnight easy to apply very sturdy-Stick to the glass and work perfectly. I had been staying up at night, afraid to sleep because it was dark outside those doors no Outside lighting. After I applied these, I sleep well- I feel very safe.

Works really well, but MAKE SURE YOU LET THE ADHESIVE CURE
So I originally installed this wrong 4 years ago because I was like, who needs instructions, and then I did it wrong. But!! It still worked! After 4 years of slamming the door into it by about an inch every time we opened the sliding door but forgot it was locked it eventually broke. I can’t stress enough that I did it the wrong direction and it still functioned great. I don’t think anyone ever tried to break in but I can tell you from experience that no one was coming in or out of that door if you didn’t unlock the burglar bar first. But I needed to replace it. So we installed a new one (the correct way) and it’s snug, installation went great, looks amazing. I tried it out and when locked the door doesn’t budge. Perfect. So I went to show my partner and this is where I messed up. Y’all need to take that adhesive warning seriously. Command strips and stuff like that have them too and I never paid attention, which is on me. Give it the time it needs to fully adhere to the glass. when I went to show my partner how snug the door is now that the bar is properly installed, I hadn’t waited long enough and the bar fell off and into the gap between the 2 sliding doors. We can’t get it out. The door will open mostly but It won’t close all the way. I broke a chopstick, bent a butter knife and jammed my finger trying to get it out. We accidentally knocked the door slightly off track trying to pull it to give us more room to get it out, that didn’t work. We tried to take the doors out of the door frame but the bolts are really stuck in there because this is a really old apartment. My landlord has to come today to try and take my doors off to get this stupid thing out of there. We were up most of the night trying to fix this.TLDR; Works perfect! Minus one star because when user error strikes a little bit, the result is incredibly irritating and honestly does the opposite of intended, as the door won’t close, or lock, but can open most of the way which is both inconvenient and possibly dangerous. We have to keep our cats in the living room with supervised bathroom breaks into the bedroom/bathroom because they can get through the gap, even though we tried to block it off. I know it’s my fault for not letting the adhesive cure for the full 48 hours or whatever but I didn’t think it would lead to this

Works great
Works great and very effective. Only thing is I gotta put the second one lower (for the sliding door) but toddler can reach it and unlock. The top one still catches the door tho. Otherwise great product.

Great alternative to bars in the door track!
These little plastic stoppers are great!! You just push the tab up or down to have extra security. Very easy installation. No ugly bar needed. Does not get in the way of door opening when not in use. I will buy these again for my windows. They are clear.

Won’t last if subjected to direct sunlight
The adhesive will deteriorate if it get direct sunlight everyday. The one I installed at the top of the door that has shade are still working after 2 years but I’m expecting it to fail anytime now. Adhesives don’t last forever. The ones at the bottom of the door that gets direct sunlight and heat everyday failed sooner. It popped off around the 1 1/2 year mark.
My opinion –
I wanted something that would deter my toddler from opening the sliding door of our kitchen pantry, but would still be very easy to open and close because we use it extensively while cooking and this work like a charm. The sticker is sturdy and hasn’t flinched even when we forget it’s there and slide the door into it. It’s discreet since it’s just clear plastic and very easy to use. I would recommend without hesitation.
