SECURITY!
I have needed to purchase a fire safe box to protect all of my important documents and valuables for about 15 years. This product has a good weight to it, has plenty of storage space for documents and valuable items. The set up was easy. I can now sleep easier and more comfortably knowing my valuables and important documents are protected! The material is strong and sturdy, but I can manage the weight easily and the sleek black color looks professional and blends well in the darkness of the closet!

Great Value for the cost
I have been wanting a larger safe to store more items. This safe is very sturdy, was easy to install and bolt in. Setup was a breeze to change the combination. Has option to have 2 sets of batteries installed for combination lock. Comes with a black security envelope that when placed on the bottom you cannot tell it’s there. Honestly very satisfied with this product.

Surprising Safe
Safe was made of a very good and secure material with easy to follow instructions for digital keypad. Also comes with two emergency keys in case of forgotten numbered password. More spacious than I expected and also came with fireproof pouch for important papers. Very pleased with product and great for securing my coin collection.

Nowhere near 4.2 or even 3.8 cubic feet of storage
I would not normally put this product in the one star review category, but I really do not like dishonesty in advertising. When we got the safe, it certainly didn’t look like it was close to what we expected on size. Doing some measurements and calculations, we determined that it was only about 2 cubic feet of storage, not the 3.8 mentioned in the title or 4.2 that was mentioned in the description. I wish that we had looked closer before buying and ran the calculations, because even taking the inside dimensions that the advertisement uses (14.5″ x 11.4″ x 23″) and plugging them into a cubic foot calculator, it comes out as 2.2 cubic feet (almost half the size of what they were claiming).

The instructions aren’t as helpful as they could be.
I’m happy with the size of the safe. It arrived in good condition. There were no dents or scratches on it. It seems to be the perfect size for what I need it to be. The only drawback that I found was the instructions and how to set up the pin and how to open the safe after setting the pin. The instructions don’t say to hit the start button after the pin which you need to do in order to open the safe.

The safe not only is fireproof itself, it is heavy duty and has an interior fireproof lettersize bag. It has three shelves that are removable, I took two out which left me with ample space to put in larger items, whether a potflio, on legal size documents. An extendable 5 yr warranty is available for free, and the tag says if you lose key(s) you can get a replacement. Seems like great customer service. Very happy!

The safe is described as waterproof and fireproof. It is neither. There are holes to secure the safe, and the holes go straight through to the safe. No insulating properties. Only the small bag that comes with it is rated to be waterproof and fireproof. It was also missing a battery cover, and there was no way to contact the seller to have that part shipped, and Amazon does not have those spare parts. Spoke with 3 different customer service agents, and while they tried their best, the only option would be to ship the whole thing back. While it was not what we expected, we will keep it and buy separate bags to put inside to protect our valuables. Definitely disappointing.
