Got with discount so even better deal. Great controls setup, rear switch temp bright flash and power on. Switch on body changes brightness levels. Comes with rechargeable battery and will work with 2 AA but not as bright. Fits nicely in my back pocket. For the money a good deal.

I’m impressed for $30
First few day review.I got the blue version with the SFT-25R LED, and honestly, it’s the one to go for if you want a tactical or self-defense use for around $30. it has 2 modes the default is Tactical mode. it’s always in turbo each time you turn it on.In daily mode I believe it will always stay in the last mode you leave it on except moonlightIt puts out a max of 1,400 lumens on turbo for 1 minute before dropping to 500 lumens, with an impressive 23,104 candela (when it’s on the 1,400-lumen turbo mode).That said, I wish the user interface (UI) was a bit different, especially with how standby mode works. In daily mode, I’d much rather have a simple order of moonlight, low, medium, high, turbo. without needing standby mode at all.Right now, to get into moonlight mode, you have to: 1. Turn on the light with the tail cap. 2. Press the side button once (this turns off the LED and makes the side button the on/off button, with its green LED constantly lit). 3. Then, long-press the side button to get into moonlight. Overall it’s a solid light. Good materials, good weight, nice touch of knurling, super bright, rechargeable. It’s an easy light to use other than getting too moonlight. Which can be a bit tedious when you just want to turn it on and have the lowest light possible from the get go.Know what you want out of a light. I know we want to just think it’s simple all flashlights are the same, but they aren’t. What purpose do you have for it? Do you need distance to see out a couple hundred yards? Do you need to light up an entire room? Higher lumens generally means it’s going to be a floodlight. Higher candela means it’s going to have a hotspot and get more distance and a concentrated beam.I’d definitely buy myself another one and plan on getting a couple as gifts.

Very well built but…
Quality is excellent. Nice smooth finish. Rear rail switch works great. Very bright at turbo, but gets hot fast. The silicone light stick cover is nice and thick, but I probably will never use it. Aside from that theres a few major issues.I fine the front button and changing modes cumbersome. My Fenix LD20 flashlight can do all that at the tail switch. If I want to use med output, I need to turn it on via tail button, then switch my hold and press the front button to change the modes from Turbo>low>med. Where as my fenix light just use the tail switch to control mode via half press down on the button without switching my grip.The other big problem is this Li-on usb battery 14100 that nobody sells. Even Acebeam website does not list it. So when this battery goes bad(typically last 5-6 yrs with daily use), you will have to go back to AA batteries. I guess you can still use rechargeable AA battery with it after that.I probably wont get this one again if I need another flash light. I will look for something else that uses a more common high power rechargable battery like the 21700 battery. I wish someone told me this before purchase.

Originally I wasn’t sure about the size, but now that it’s in my pocket, it immediately became the best light I’ve owned. This light has all or more of the options that the expensive light’s have. It’s straight up a solid, reliable and feature rich light. I am going to buy another one just because it’s that good. It comes with two diffusers that I didn’t think I needed until I did, and then this light was irreplaceable. Just get one, you will not regret it…..no, get two.

Review of blue version. For the price it can’t be beat. For the size it can’t be outperformed. Crisp round hot spot with decent spill. The round led is newer and again gives a real crisp circle. Blue version is more of a thrower. If you’re looking for this style put it in the cart. 40 bucks for this kind of performance and finish is a steal. Slim, good battery life, long runtime on turbo without dropping output. As someone who owns over 20 modern flashlights, I highly recommend it.
