Not MRE/Great tasting
For starters the lunch/Dinner pail is what this review is about. Expiration date on the meal packets are 02/01/2046 so there’s plenty of time for a natural or man made disaster if that’s what floats your boat lol. You can also use it for daily meals definitely cheaper than buying or storing groceries. Please note this is not an MRE pail, this is packaged for a minimum of 4 servings & a max of 8 servings with some cooking involved, like boiling water and adding & stirring! You can use this for individual consumption by using a portion of the packet content then putting a chip clip on the pouch for later use! The pail has a seal on the inside of the lid so storing is not a problem. The food comes with directions on each packet for how much water to use, my suggestion is to use a bit less water… like a 1/2 cup less than instructed then you decide if you need more, the food tastes great and it’s not runny like some people described if you use a bit less water, like I said you can always add more water if needed! For a survival food this is actually tasty! I would definitely buy again! I hope this info helps!

Decent stuff
I have tried several of these items. I am getting ready to have back surgery and need a simple cooking solution. The meals are pretty decent but lack seasoning so you will need some salt and pepper. Given all the variables this solution solved my issue and was easy and simple no fuss. Also, the soups can be adapted for the crockpot very easily, which makes it even simpler. I have no issues with this product at all.

Reasonably priced sealed large food order lasts up to 25 years
I like this sealed reasonably priced food tub which lasts up to 25 years. The expiration says best by June d34 but it lasts up to 25 years which means I won’t starve for awhile if something really pad happens as long as I can get to a little water.I’m thinking of getting a couple more.

Great for camping, wish it was easier to make less
It taste better than McDonald’s, easy to use, size for meals is for 2-4 I wish it had directions for single servings. No leaking, seals are good, and they are sturdy as hell, takin on several kayak/camping trips. I love it.

Good Products
We’ve been snowed in and cycling through some of our emergency food stash. We’ve tried several Augason Farms products and they’ve been good. Well packaged and cooks up with a fresh taste, my kids like the pastas and dried fruits.

Easy to store and lasts for years.
We got this for an emergency food stash. It takes up little room making it easy to store, has enough for many meals, and lasts many years. We haven’t tasted it yet, but in an emergency it will be more than fine.

Everything is sealed properly!
Sealed tightly, solid box to protect food, small enough to fit under a shelf.

Kids friendly meals
Great selection of food, kids friendly.would buy 1 more to keep in the emergency bags

I bought this for a back country camping trip. Some of the portions are a little weird. There’s enough food to feed 4 adults on a 5 day camping trip and it all fits in a realitively small container.

El producto es cómo el que se describe, lo mejor es que llego al 5 día aproximadamente. Muy buen servicio

As it is long term survival supplies i can’t really review the food but, it is very compact for the contents making it easy to store, delivery was quick, I ordered 3 and i was contacted by the company to let me know that their stock were almost out and what remained had damaged packaging so instead of sending out a sub-par product they refunded me for 1 item which was very appreciated, most other companies would just ship the damaged product regardless.Very happy with my purchase and company, will definitely be buying again.

This chicken flavored rice is supposed to serve 8 but the portion is so pathetic that it could only serve 3 adults and 1 child in an Asian family setting. I’m not even talking about generous American size serving! The rest of the food packs do no look like they’re packed enough to meet the serving requirements. Just imagine when you are in a desperate situation and what you bought can’t even cater to the needs of your family in an emergency! How very disappointing! Felt super short changed by Augason Farm. This is not the way to do business.

Both this for backcountry camping. The meals I took with me maybe took a bit longer to rehydrate than others I have used but taste was great. Instructions say to boil for a certain length of time, but if you’re thinking backcountry, it rehydrate if just left in the boiled water.
