Easy to put together, 7 yr old helped. Only gripe is the colors, wanted a bigger variety but we have paint all over so no big deal.

Cute project, but needs a sealant to hold up over time
We bought this to place in our backyard for our daughter who loves to birdwatch.It was easy to assemble and paint. I would suggest coating the birdhouse in a sealent as the environment its placed in could cause it to splinter and become less durable.

Building it is not for young kids
LOL to this being suitable for the 5+ range. I’m pretty crafty but I had to maneuver these to make them work and left the top nails for the sides out as they were causing the wood to split. Like another reviewer mentioned, I used a different wood glue. One set also didn’t come with the little hooks for the chain so I had to improvise and glue the roof more together to the house. Would have returned but they are grandparent Christmas gifts. They are cute once you get it together and aren’t difficult, but kids can’t really build it.
