good tank but spigot is annoying
It’s a pretty good water tank, but when tightening the spigot after filling it, it could sometimes miss thread, causing a leak.

Easy fill, easy use
Filling this container is easy and foolproof. I am using this for artesian water and it is perfect for filling from the well. The container is also perfect from drawing water out of it. No leaks, no spills, tap works fine.

Heavy filled!
Totally worth it for camping. Good, heavy duty plastic, no leaks. 5 gallons lasted us 3 days camping. Will be getting a 2nd one.

I like the valve and shape of jug
Jug works great. The first time I filled it up I tightened the valve on very tight. Noticed it had a small leak around the valve mounting thread. I took it off and reinstalled it and just snugged it tight by hand lightly. No leak no more. Works great!

Very sturdy and a great investment
I’ve had this for a while and while other reviews are right when they say it leaks, It only leaks if you dont tighten the cap really good. yes, it’s a little annoying to make sure its tight enough but with how well made it is at this price point, it’s great!

Leaks! Can’t tighten it!
I had one of these for 20 years and it worked great. My (now) adult son wanted to borrow it so I said he could have it and I ordered myself two more. The new ones are very poorly made. The plastic cap will not tighten. When you tighten it, it just releases. No seal makes this worthless. I guess Coleman is no longer the quality brand it used to be. No more Coleman for me and these two jugs are going into the landfill. Check out Sceptre instead. More $$ but they get the job done properly.

Campsite Asset
Previously used a collapsable plastic 5 gallon container for miscellaneous campsite needs. Nice for storage but a pain to use. This Coleman 5 gallon container rocks! Used primarily for drinking water and rinsing cookware, utensils and plates after washing. Set it up at the edge of a table and you’re good to go. Bulky to pack and store but works great when running water is not available.

Material muy frágil, puede romperse muy fácilmente, orificio de alimentación muy estrecho. No volvería a comprarlo

I like the holding capacity of this container, and that the material is not flimsy. Neither does the screw on cap (which does not require much turning) nor the tap leak. I am very pleased with this product.

I went specifically for this brand cause it’s usually good. The lid leak the first time we tried, we thought it wasn’t put or tied properly but no. It keeps spinning instead of tighting and leak. This water jug wasn’t cheap either compare the one at Walmart that it’s 1/2 the hzz as of and doesn’t leak at all.Not recommended
