Banging 🔥🔥🔥
I received my order today unfortunately I was missing one. Haven’t tried them, as they are for emergency purposes but they are vacuum sealed very well. No leaks in them. So maybe someone was hungry. Not gonna make a big deal about it. God bless em lol 👊😁🙏Edit. So, I was able to resolve the issue with the missing package. Yesterday I decided to open one to try them because I try everything I get for long term. So yeah, they are pretty darn tasty and pretty filling. I inspected every package and they are perfectly sealed. With all the craziness going on in the world and the gradual inflation, I’m thinking this is what I’m going to be living on now. Might as well get used to it now before it’s here and you’re dying for a burger or some Chinese food 🫣🤣💪

Emergency bars
Package came vacuum sealed with use by date stamped on outside. Open and tried one, very good taste for energy bar. Will order more for bug out bag and hunting pack.

Not bad for a 3 day survival ration
I got these to quality test and taste test for an emergancy kit I’m putting together myself. The quality is pretty good so far. The package came sealed and had no holes or openings. It deffanily looks watter proof to. They are also very recently manufactured to. Mine was made in March 2015 (last month) The dates are easy to read which I like unlike the confusing date codes on MRE’s. It uses a simple date format like 3/15 with the expiration date right under neath the manufacture date that reads 3/20 or March 2020 which indicate it’s five year shelf life.It looks like one bar (3 cubes) is supposed to last you one day. One cube has 400 calories equaling 1,200 calories per bar. They also got lots of vitamins & minerals. The only issue I see with the bars themself is the lack of fiber (2 grams per cube or 6 grams in a days ration)I think they would make a good edition to my survival kit and they don’t taste that bad ether. They got somewhat of a lemony shugar cookie taste & texture but that tastes less sweet than a shugar cookie. The lemony taste is barley noticable when you first bite into it. It also doesn’t make me thirsty all that much which is a good thing for survival food. The weight isn’t to heavy. It’s only a few ounces lighter than MRE’s making them easier to carry. They are also half the size of MRE’s. The only thing I realy wish they would include is a way to re seal the bag like with a zip lock or something making it more ideal for 3 or more days. I might have to re seal it in a zip lock bag to prevent it from being exposed to long. All in all they are decent survival rations and they are at a great price. Only payed close to $10 even with tax for one individual 3 day ration. I’ll also be comparing this to the SOS and dartex survival rations which some say are very similar but with a different taste. I added some pictures to show actual size using a penny for size comparison. They are actualy a pretty good size for the money. I’ll be buying these again.

Great in an emergency
I was a bit hesitant to try these out as i am a bit picky when it comes to food. However, in an emergency, these are a fantastic choice. I am giving 5 stars, although the bars where not vacuum sealed when they arrived, we planned on trying them out before ordering a bunch anyways so this was not an issue for us. Also, i checked the reviews before i ordered, so i knew this was a possibility. The flavor is pretty good. You can taste a hint of lemon. Thr bar tastes like pie crust with a dash of lemon flavor. It has some harder, crunchier pieces inside that taste like sugar clumps. There is almost like a Crisco grease residue when you first take a bite. But like i said, its a lot like a crumbly version of pie crust. My husband and 11 year old like the flavor. So if you are buying for an emergency situation, and have children, i would definitely get a few.

Shut up and take my money!
I teach in “bush” Alaska, and am always looking for emergency rations to take with me hunting, ice fishing, etc. This year I’m in the Aleutians and we get very high winds and no-fly conditions for a week or more at a time. The only things flying then are the angels and the coast guard, which is for most purposes the same thing. I carry granola bars (good), Sailor boy pilot bread (the Alaska staple) and peanut butter (good but crackers are stale tasting unless toasted). Canned food and MREs are heavy, and MRE’s are expensive. I just weighed 3 MREs that range from 18 ounces to 22 ounces, and are about 1200 calories each. This 3600 calorie bar weighed just over 24 ounces, far less than the 3 MREs required for the same number of calories. Survival situations in Alaska often require a lot of calories, as people tend to be wet and cold. This is a very low cost way to carry good tasting concentrated calories. I bought some of these bars and one of the three I ordered must have had a hole in it as it lost the vacuum seal. This became the one I taste tested. My wife, 2 children, and I all liked the bars, I thought they tasted like a vanilla wafer cookie, but with more of a lemon flavor than vanilla. My wife used to be a girl scout and says they taste like the lemon trefoil (shortbread) cookie. The lemon flavor is not strong, and these were sweetish, but not sweet enough to make me thirsty. I’m going to try a couple of days on these but I’m very impressed with the price and taste so far. It’s pretty hard to get a day’s worth of long-term storable portable food for this price.

Same as many of the reviews I am reading, the 2 packages I bought did not come sealed. One even has a visible puncture hole in the packaging. Can’t really trust a product that comes that way can you?!
