Works Great, Easy Set Up
We liked this model because the semi flat top and the shape and color. We didn’t want the type barrel that has a recess in it for a flower pot cause we thought water would pool there and breed mosquitos. This one has a flat top so we just put a bunch of round river stones on top and the water from our rain gutter just drops onto the stones and into the barrel. We have had several rains since we installed it and have been using the collected water for our plants. Set up was easy, we put it on top of 4 concrete paver blocks, hooked up the hose, and routed our gutter to the top of the barrel. We plan to remove and empty the barrel for winter storage as freezing temperatures will damage the barrel. Happy with the barrel so far… : )

Easy to setup & use! Highly recommend it!
This is a great invention. Where has it been all this time and how come I didn’t learn about it sooner? I want to make a rain catchment center and this is the start of it. Set it up under a sawed down gutter and it works wonderfully. It comes with its own screen and the rain rushes right into it. Couldn’t be simper. Lightweight to move around when empty too without issues. Love it. We set ours up on three red square bricks for height and it works and is sturdy. Highly recommend it. Can hold a bit or rain in it, too. So glad we went ahead and bought it.

I was very happy when i received my barrel. It was very beautiful and the quality was there. I used it immediately when we lost power after a hurricane. First as water collector then as a makeshift way to t take a shower. I set it up on a table and bathed under the hose. I will use it afterwards to use the rainwater for my hair and my plants. Great buy!!

Perfect size
Easy for me to set up. Not too large. I plan on pop substituting the supplied hose valve. It’s too difficult for my arthritic fingers to turn. Plus its flimsy plastic. Otherwise, I like the barrel Its attractive and looks nice next to my lighter grey home

So far this has been a great addition to my garden. It holds quite a bit of rain and the spout I’ve had zero issues with it opening and closing it. Recommend for anyone that wants a rain barrel that looks good.

Great rain barrel
I love my rain barrel. It looks very nice and stylish next to my front patio. It will be so nice in the spring when I put out new flowers in my pots. Now, I will be able to water them directly from the barrel.I put a mesh cover on the barrel to keep out the mosquitoes and the bits of shingle sand that comes from the roof. The mesh cover will help me to not have to empty the barrel and clean out the sludge very often.It was easy to assemble the hose and attach it. This is such a great option. The hose works very well and the water flows nicely. I look forward to having beautiful rain nourished flowers this spring.

Bottom drain not very good.
The bottom drain doesn’t work very well and the top holder for the hose comes completely off instead of just the hose itself. The barrel itself is very strong and sturdy. I believe it will hold up well. I had to cut the openings slightly larger to make up for the size of the pump I put in it. I was able to water my whole yard with two barrels. I must say it was nice to not use any city water for a change. The barrels had no trouble collecting the rainwater.
