Sturdy, Useful, Loud, Clear and Bright
Works for its intended purposes. The extendable antenna is good at picking up signals and the speaker is clear. The sos function is a bit obnoxious but as long as you keep the switch to power you’ll be fine. The reading light and flash lights are bright. Very useful in the dark to quickly locate something I’ve dropped.I don’t know how one would begin to test the power generated by the cranking, but I found its a fun fidget when I watch movies/TV. Its has a sturdy inded to protect the handle when not in use. It is smooth turning, and has a light motor sound I find relaxing [like the hum of a car] but your mileage may vary there. Its not ‘heavy’ but it is substantial. Its lighter than my phone but the plastic is well molded with no unseamly seams. The rechargeable battery has a decent charge rate for my phone.

Great! Perfect for power outages.
It’s hard to get service where I live but this product has absolutely no issue picking up signal. It’s loud and clear, no static. The hand crank function works perfectly, and I adore the different ways it can charge. I have had no issues with it and shipping even came sooner than expected. The item arrived in great condition as well.

Good for backup in an emergency
First impressions. Everything works. It is solid and heavier than I would expect for a small, inexpensive radio. There is no play in the tuning knob, and it has the right amount of resistance, not too tight nor too loose. The sound from the speaker is what you would expect with a small, inexpensive radio, but the weather band is loud and clear. The FM reception seems ok. From experience having traveled with many small, inexpensive radios as well as small fairly expensive radios over the years, I expect this one to be durable. The one negative, perhaps, is AM reception doesn’t seem that good. It is there, just doesn’t compare favorably to other little radios that I have. Of course, this may or may not be a relevant issue for most people nowadays, and observations will probably vary. But as I say, the weather band is strong, and the FM is acceptable, in my opinion, for a backup emergency radio.

It works!
I’ve tried all the features and found it works quite well. Additionally, I showed it to my son. He checked it out and then ordered one for himself.CHEERS! It’s a great product and small enough to easily tuck into a handbag or generous pocket. It’s smart to have something on hand in case of emergency. And this is a good choice to fill that need.

Pretty good for price
Does and acts as advertised. This was one of my husbands favorite gifts. Sound can get loud and the weather comes threw fine. I have dropped it on accident a few times and it’s not bothered by it either. There are no complaints.

Essential Emergency Tool – Reliable and Versatile!
I recently purchased the FosPower Emergency Weather Radio (Model A1) and am extremely impressed with its performance and features. This device is truly a must-have for both indoor and outdoor emergencies.First and foremost, the 7400mWh power bank is incredibly handy. It keeps my devices charged when I’m on the go or during power outages. The multiple charging options (USB, solar, and hand crank) give me peace of mind knowing I’ll always have access to power no matter the situation. The radio itself works flawlessly, picking up NOAA weather alerts and AM/FM signals with excellent clarity. The built-in flashlight is bright and has already come in handy during a recent camping trip. I also appreciate the SOS alarm feature, which adds an extra layer of safety. The FosPower Emergency Radio is compact, sturdy, and easy to use. It’s now an essential part of my emergency preparedness kit. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable and versatile emergency radio. It’s worth every penny!

Husband loves it!
This was a Christmas present, and my husband loves it! It has way features more than he thought he wanted, but he is very happy! The radio works, (for emergencies, though there are better radios) the price was good, it charges with a cable or solar power. It is tunable, and after Hurricane Helene, we knew we needed an emergency system. You can even use it to power charging cords. It’s a keeper.

Good lower priced radio
Pros and cons… I gave it 3 stars for lacking a few features but it’s decent radio.PROS… It charges via Solar, Hand crank and USB. If those fail, it takes AA batteries! It charges more slowly on cloudy days but it DOES charge in LOW light! The hand crank works well and will give you about 25 minutes of radio after cranking for three minutes. I suspect the gears are plastic but if you use reasonable care when cranking, it should last. It has great reception and sound. 7 preset weather stations. Analog tuning and good control with the knobs. Nice basic radio for staying informed. Has a bright reading lamp and a fair flashlight but brightness is NOT adjustable to save power.CONS… Rechargable Battery is NOT replaceable. It does NOT have an Emergency Alert feature. No clock and the front panel is not back lit.

Very happy with this radio. Small and compact for camping. Small speaker limits sound quality but it sounds excellent with headphones plugged in. Flashlight and reading light are very bright. Only improvement would be a less sensitive volume control at the lower volume levels.

Simple to use. Grandchildren love it for camping. Radio isn’t very clear but we’re in a valley so no radio is. Haven’t tested the radio yet at higher ground.

It was charged when I received it. You know how when people get their digital products and toss the manual and just start pressing buttons? Well, you really need to read the manual. It’s just a couple of pages. For instance, when charging you need to set the button at the bottom in the right position. The radio plays fine even without the antenna. I found my favorite radio station. Everything works. I tested charging my phone and that worked. I charged it. I notice it can charge my fire tablet. So yay.I bought it mainly for the radio and phone charging during outages. I have other flashlights, but it’s good to have an extra one now. I like that it has 4 charging capabilities, solar, hand crank, AAA batteries, and USB charging. It’s small and compact. Nice. I took the carabiner off. I don’t need that. I’m not going out in the wild. Lol. Oddly enough I found the battery compartment a little difficult to get open for the AAA batteries. I did get it, and now that I have, it’s fine.I didn’t know if I need to recharge it since it was already charged, and to what amount I don’t know. So I charged it through my pc. It says the red light comes on when charging, which it did, and that it turns off when fully charged. It says it takes 4.5 hours to be fully recharged. I had it there for about 6 and it never turned off. So I don’t know what that means. I stopped it at 6 hours because I don’t want anything to go wrong with it.Anyway, so far so good. The real test is when there will be a huge power outage again. Just made it through Fiona. The power was out for 40 hours where I was. This thing could have come in handy for charging my phone. Instead, I had to tightly limit the use of my cell phone in order to to make it last. And the only usable radio was on my phone which was definitely counter-productive.The SOS is really loud. But I think that is a good feature if you live in an area prone to tornados, earthquakes, and other extreme events. If you’re trapped under rubble you can use it to alert search and rescue workers.
