FAQs
Q: What type of bottle can be screwed onto the filter?
A: Yuclet water filter fits most standard 28mm or 30mm threaded water/soda bottles. For bottles with shallow threads, the bottle neck ring may need to be removed. (Note: We cannot ensure universal compatibility as water bottle sizes vary in the market.)
Q: Why can’t the filter straw suck water through?
A: Please check if the filter’s silicone dust plug has been removed.
Q: Can it be used to filter saline water?
A: No, the filter can be used to filter fresh water rather than saline water.
Q: How do I know when it’s time to change the filter?
A: If you experience low or no flow rate, consider replacing the filter. Water flow will cease when the filter reaches the end of its lifespan. If you start to experience bad taste, it’s also time to replace the filter.
Q: Does the filter remove TDS?
A: TDS stands for total dissolved solids, and represents the total concentration of dissolved substances in water. Some of these dissolved solids are contaminants, and Yuclet water filter does remove some of them, but many are actually good for you, such as calcium, magnesium, sodium, and potassium. For example, bottled water can have a high TDS reading due to higher levels of mineral content. Yuclet water filter is designed to remove contaminantsand particles from water, but it doesn’t directly affect the TDS level. For reducing TDS levels, you would need a different type of filtration system, such as a reverse osmosis filter or a distillation process.

A must have!
Used this gravity filter system during a dispersed camping/hunting trip in the national forest. It does exactly what it is supposed to do and does it well. Filled the bag with cloudy creek water, hung it from a tree and then started filtering the water into our cups for some coffee. Nice crystal clear water came out. Very happy with this gravity system!

Good quality, easy to use
Works easily as described, filtering fairly quickly. The only down-side, to me, was that it requires an additional connection/step, compared to the competing brands. But, it is fairly straightforward to use and can handle a good amount of water filtration at a time.

Backup for our Go Bags
Looks sturdy, inexpensive. Great backup to have in an emergency. It stays in my van just incase.

Perfect addition to my “just in case” kit!
As the climate continues to shift and change I’ve been putting together some basic tools for survival – canned goods, cast iron skillet, first aid supplies, and bottled water. With the recent hurricane activity I realized the importance of securing potable water in an SHTF situation. When the Yuclet Gravity Water Filtration System became available for me to review I ordered it without looking back – and I am so glad I did!The 2-gallon water bag is gravity fed, I just need to locate something to hang it from. I don’t have a way to test the water to ensure it’s “pure enough” to feel completely safe drinking it, before boiling it to be ultra cautious, but it’s a far sight better than no purification process at all!I love that it also comes with a 20 oz water bottle; although much smaller than the large reservoir it’s a good size to carry with you while leaving the “big” bag at home, preferably filtering the next 2 gallons into a larger reservoir.Best of all is the filter straw itself – in a true emergency you could drink directly from a water source and trust that the majority of the yucky stuff is getting strained out (at some point the need for water to sustain life will over-ride one’s concerns for contaminants and other hazards). The price point for this kind of quality is excellent, very happy with this product!Thank you for reading my review, I hope it was helpful!

Just as Good
We have found that this hiking filter works just as good as the higher priced name brand filters on the market. We took our camping not expecting to need it. But the water was so bad at the campsite we decided to try running it through this filter. I was sure glad we had it with us. It will have a permanent place in or camping gear.

Works well but I have minor complaints
The Yuclet gravity water filter is a well-constructed device that seems to work effectively in the test water filtering I have done. . The filter itself appears to be of high quality, and the filtration process is straightforward. However, I do wish the collection bottle was a bit larger, as it requires frequent emptying. Additionally, the process of changing the collection bottle again and again can be a bit cumbersome. While this filter is capable of filtering down to 0.1 microns, I plan to use it in conjunction with boiling water as an extra precaution to eliminate potential viruses and bacteria that the filter may not capture.Despite these minor drawbacks, this filter is a valuable addition to my home emergency kit and would be a useful tool for camping trips.

A When SHTF Purchase that has proven to work well.
I picked up this Water Filter System in preparation for what I like to call the ‘voting zombie apocalypse’ of peaceful protestors—peaceful, that is, until you express an opinion that isn’t theirs. Picture it: joy-filled crowds radiating happiness as long as you nod along. But when it’s time to peel off the Pepe the Frog sticker from your vehicle and go incognito, when you need to be quasi-military (because, let’s face it, military is the only way), this water filtration system has got your back.Complete with a 2-gallon bag and a 0.1-micron water filter straw, this gravity-fed system is perfect for camping, hiking, or when your backyard turns into a front-row seat for the latest ‘peaceful discussion.’ It’s compact, easy to use, and will keep you hydrated while you stay out of the fray while cleaning your second amendments. And here’s a bonus: I’ve got a 350-gallon hot tub that can hold plenty of viable water now, thanks to this system. Just be sure to get a water tester like I did to double-check that everything’s running clean—trust me, when it comes to water, you want quality with a capital Q.Whether you’re out in the wilderness or laying low during the precipice, this filtration system is a must-have. Because when the chants get louder and the useless eaters start to encroach, you’ll be glad you’re sipping on safe water, waiting for things to be great again.
