Definitely recommended
I was recently diagnosed with allergy asthma so I have zero tolerance for breathing in anything pure air but my main activity for exercise and entertainment is maintaining my yards and property in this dry SW Arizona desert. I tried paper masks from the local Ace but they don’t fit, leak and interfere with my glasses. Just barely better than nothing and that wasn’t good enough because it was making me sick.I went shopping on Amazon, found this with good reviews and ordered with replacement filters. I agree that the filters seem expensive but on examination they are NOT made cheaply. Acordian filter paper imbedded in soft rubber for a perfect seal. I can’t tell how long they are going to last but I’ve already put about 25-30 hours and I can still breath through them fairly easily. There will be no doubt when they are plugged. The mask is soft rubber with an inword fold that fits really tight and you can feel it get even tighter when you inhale. Both inhale and exhale is through one way valves. All very professional. By the time your face starts to warm up from contact with the rubber it’s time to rehydrate so I never had to stop due to discomfort. This is either my first or second 5 star rating as I like to be objective and not go gushing just because it arrived on time. Not only is this a very good product but also a better value, with the possible exception of the replacement filters. Maybe they market this the way they do ink jet printers. Sell the printer at cost plus and then hose you on the cartridges.

Wow, great low profile respirator
I needed something with a better fit and longevity than an N95 with foam, and this is amazing. I have a partial beard and this fits perfect. Not hard to put on or take off over a winter hat. I have severe asthma and have to walk my kid to school and there is some dude in a turbo diesel overcompensation truck that was giving me issues, regular masks werent working well and I didnt want to wear my large respirator as that seemed overkill and would make me a pariah lol. This is so low profile that it doesn’t make you the center of attention. Filters exhaust fumes well. I also had the misopportunity to test it with Electrical fumes when my wife’s rear wiper motor in her suv siezed and cooked itself. That was not as good of a filter, as I still got some odor through the mask…but not enough to trigger an asthma attack. So I wouldn’t recommend it for heavy welding (that’s the taste of the fumes I got). Without it I wouldnt have been able to ride in the vehicle with the lingering smell. With it, I was able to tolerate up to 15min before the odor was noticable.Overall, very good for pollution fumes and dust. Doesnt fog up my glasses and I was able to wear them normally. Very comfortable fit, and I have a large nose where I always have issues with a seal near the sides of my nostrils. Not with these. Very happy with them.

Effective and good fit
I like this because the filter is compact and against the side as opposed to the ones with the larger filters that stick away. Seems to work well in dusty areas.

Low profile for low risk activities
This is not to be mistaken for an industrial or COVID-19 protection device. You pay a bit more than some for the design, but not more protection. You will still smell and possibly be subjected to some harmful fumes. It is not compatible with a line of varying filters from multiple brands. It is meant to protect against dust and dust alone. If it arrives dusty, as my first one did, it is used. Exchange it.That said, it is a comfortable respirator. I purchased this to use in 3D printing. It is used alongside a filtered printer and air purifier as an added precaution for being exposed to particulates when removing prints. I can still smell the alcohol used for cleaning, despite being muted. This was found to be partially from a used mask and that you will need to upgrade the filters for some level of protection from fumes, albeit not much. I won’t get into how I felt having realized my first mask was used, even if I make sure to clean such things before use.For the price, it was a better deal than purchasing each part separately. It also seemed a lot more durable than the 3M knockoffs that are littered with reviews about breaking down. I wouldn’t wear this one in a medical setting, especially without a filtered exhaust. I will, however, pick this over a cloth mask. You can’t argue with the low profile for a little extra protection.Unfortunately, the packaging arrives without any sort of seal. The first smelled like someone had already been using it in a chemical plant and appeared a bit dirty. The pop of what sounded like a failed seal was what really convinced me it was not storage in a dirty stockroom. This one was returned immediately. The next one arrived neatly packed and clean. It still had the smell of the materials used to make it, but not one of being soaked in ammonia. The other big consideration is the proprietary filters. While I love that the intent was comfort, it only takes one low stock situation for prices to jump. Trusting that the filters will always be available and affordable is hard. This is where it pays for brands, such as 3M, to have so many knock-offs. Fortunately, Amazon has begun to stock the filters directly and there is a clone with filters that fit.

Very good respiratory. We did demo on a 140 year old house for 4 weeks and 110 yards of waste. It was very effective and made breathing easy. I also use this under my welding helmet as it’s compact. Great for welding galvanized steel and removing fumes from being inhaled!

This respirator fits real well and is very comfortable to wear. Breathing through it is quite easy though not the same as breathing normally. Our city has been smothered by forest fire smoke and this respirator helps me to cut down on breathing in pollutants from the foul air.
