Solid Product
It’s spacious enough to fit me (6ft 230lbs) without issue. Fully submerged past shoulders without spillage. Once fully assembled, it’s surprisingly sturdy. It didn’t move, bulge or sway from the inside while I was in it, even resting my back against the wall. Plenty of room to sit cross legged comfortably. I recommend putting a tarp underneath to help pad the bottom. The rim did have a slight concave section. If this was intentional, it was a nice touch, since that section is right above the drain spout. If I had overfilled it would drain in the same direction as the spout. But I suspect that was just the downhill side in my setup so it slightly dips on that end.Overall it’s solid a solid product. Does the job well, plenty of space, and easy to setup.

Great product
This was very easy assembly, with great quality materials. It’s hold cold temps for a long time as long as there is a lot of ice. It’s the perfect size for any room in the house and was a great value for the money paid. Over all it’s performance is greater than expected out of such a small tub.

Just what is needed, nothing more.
It keeps the water pretty cool, even without ice. You’ll need ice in the summer for sure, but the sides are sturdy. The top of course collapses when there is a little rain on top of it, but it mostly keeps the debris out due to the drawstring around the lid.Glad these things came down in price to such an extent, this one is well-worth the price and the results are great. Just don’t feel the need to spend several more hundred for a few extras.

Decent starter ice bath
Low cost and lasted 3 months. It is difficult to keep the water cold when it is warm outside (I had the bath on my garage). I would fill the water to half and drop in eight 8lb blocks of ice to get the water to around 45 degrees (during the summer in TN it was ~70 degrees within 36 hours), then I would drain a few inches when I was done. During the winter, it stayed cold easily. I put in 3/4c of food grade hydrogen peroxide every time I used it which was every 72 hours. Changed the water out every 14 days and the water stayed clean. Not sure how but mine now has a tiny rip in the bottom so the water is inside the insulation and I can no longer use this product (I never dropped the ice in so I am thinking the material gave out while getting in or out).

Great Ice Bath
This tub is super easy to set up. Just fill it up and get to your desired temperature and enjoy. I’m 5‘10“ tall and 230 pounds and I fit easily into this tub. Very easy to clean and drain when needed. I use this every day. Highly recommended.

Sturdy, roomy, great value
I’ve been using the RelaxCube for over a month and it has been great, exceeding expectations! It is sturdy and thick and actually very comfortable to sit in. I haven’t been putting ice in, I’ve just been using the cold from the cold weather, but I’ve also been able to use my summer above ground pool filter and connect it through the hose at the bottom so I can keep the water fresh for a pretty long time. (hope to attach a picture soon). Overall, I was looking for something under $100 and I did not have to sacrifice on quality with getting this.

The best cold plunge tub I have tried to date
The relax cube came promptly and was not over packaged which I like quite a bit. Setup was a breeze, and the instructions were easily understood. It comes with 1 replacement support pole, a replacement o-ring for the front drain, and a patch kit. Though I find it unlikely one of the poles will break unless the tub is being abused. The other replacement parts would also be easily obtained if these replacements were to ever wear out. You can see it comes with a carry case so it can be broken down to move with ease. On the front of the cube it has a pvc ball valve for draining, and a clear accordion hose that attaches to the ball valve to extend its drainage to a convenient area. Just below that is a pull out plug for draining the remaining water in the tub. The upper ring of the tub inflates with a supplied air valve. It takes about 30 seconds to do and makes for a soft entry into the tub and a rigid frame for the top of the tub.Climbing into the ice tub was done with no effort as I am 6ft tall and 180 lbs. It had zero distortion on the walls sitting fully in the tub and resting up against the side wall. I cant really recommend this tub enough and for the cost its a no brainer. My regimen is to load the tub with a lot of frozen bottles of water. It takes about 20 minutes to bring it down to sub 40F. I shower and get cleaned up before getting in the tub. Use the tub for about 7.5 minutes fully submerged up to the edge of my jaw bone. Any longer seems to be counter productive from internal temperature drop. Get out of the tub and replace the bacterial float. I am using a bacterial float from a larger pool that is too strong. So I leave it in only briefly each day. I am hoping to find one designed for this size of tub. So I can leave it in all the time to keep things from growing in the water.Hope this helps fellow Cold Plungers, Relax Cube ftw

Much better than my previous a decent bit larger as well which is great.I can fit in this comfortably with some room to move around where my old one there wasn’t.It’s pretty easy to set up if you follow the instructions and doesn’t take too much time which I appreciate, but these things are usually pretty easy to set up anyways. The drain valve is nicely located and easy to to drain when your done.Overall it feels sturdy and i also like the lid to keep dust and dirt out of it when it’s not in use, and also help keep it cold if you set it up but wait wait to get in.

This is my first time owning a plunge bath. I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy it is. It is large enough for even my husband who is 6’2” to fit comfortably. It takes a fair bit of water, but it retains its temperature for a long time. It’s well insulated. It is easy to drain and does not need you to move around or tip the tub. This is something I can actually see myself using more in the summertime and perhaps even as an outdoor bathing tub.It comes with a storage bag and is easy to pack back into it.

Pros: 1. Large Capacity (116 Gallons): The extra-large size makes it ideal for full-body immersion, accommodating athletes of various sizes for effective cold-water therapy and muscle recovery. 2. Portable Design: Despite its large capacity, the tub is portable and easy to set up, making it convenient for athletes who need a mobile recovery solution or want to use it in different locations. 3. Durable Construction: Built with high-quality materials that can withstand prolonged use and repeated exposure to ice and cold water, ensuring longevity. 4. Muscle Recovery Benefits: Cold water therapy is widely used for reducing muscle soreness, inflammation, and fatigue, making this tub a practical tool for athletes looking for quick recovery post-training or competition. 5. Easy Drainage System: Designed with a drainage plug or outlet, making it easy to empty the tub after use without needing to lift or tilt it. 6. Multifunctional Use: While primarily designed for athletes, it can also be used for general relaxation, heat recovery (by adding hot water), or as an outdoor soaking tub. 7. Quick Setup: The tub is easy to assemble and fill, allowing for fast preparation after workouts or training sessions. 8. Insulated for Temperature Retention: Depending on the model, some tubs may come with insulating materials or covers that help maintain cold temperatures for longer periods.Cons: 1. Bulkiness: Even though it’s portable, the large size may still be challenging to transport or store, especially if you have limited space. 2. Requires a Lot of Water: With a 116-gallon capacity, it requires a significant amount of water and ice to fill, which might not be ideal for daily use in some households. 3. Time to Cool Down: If you’re not using ice, filling the tub with water and waiting for it to cool down to the desired temperature might take time, which could be a drawback for immediate post-exercise recovery. 4. Cold Tolerance: Some users may find it difficult to tolerate the cold temperatures needed for effective therapy, particularly those who are new to cold plunges. 5. No Built-In Temperature Control: Some models may lack features like built-in temperature regulation or circulation, so you need to manually monitor and adjust the water temperature. 6. Not as Durable as Permanent Solutions: Compared to more permanent ice bath setups, the portable design might not be as sturdy or long-lasting if used frequently or under rugged conditions.Verdict:The 116-gallon XL Ice Bath Tub is an excellent option for athletes looking for an affordable, portable cold plunge solution for muscle recovery and therapy. Its large capacity, durability, and ease of use make it effective for post-workout recovery, though the need for substantial water and ice, along with storage considerations, might be drawbacks for some users. Ideal for those serious about cold therapy who want a versatile and mobile solution.
