Inexpensive and durable
I have had a couple of inexpensive dehydrators, this one is compact, easy to clean, and functions really well. Makes great jerky and cinnamon apples. Timer and temperature control is spot on. Nice manual included with suggestions.

Small footprint and did a very good job
I like the small footprint of this product. I like having the 5 metal trays. I first dehydrated 🍎 apples that were getting a little old and they turned out to be the best tasting apples ever. My next was garlic, took about 17 hours and I had all 5 trays full, and it turned out perfect for me to make garlic powder. The noise level is very minimal, hardly noticeable. It seemed to dry out the garlic evenly on each tray, as I kept checking to be sure it was doing it’s job and I must say it did. The time and temperature control was fairly easy for me, as it is similar to the time/temp on my airfryer. I set it for the recommended temperature in the instruction book that came with it but I set the time at 4 hours so I would go back and check to see how it was doing and then reset it again several times until the garlic was fully dehydrated. I put dehydrator silicone sheets on each tray, so clean up was a breeze. One key point, is to make sure you slice everything the same thickness . Very much worth it and I’m well pleased with it.

Works great, just big enough for my usage. Have only done fruit so far, bit silicone mats are a must buy. Don’t think of them as am accessory, more of a necessity.Simple to use, the included book has many times and Temps for usage.

My husband and I got this to make jerky out of extra meat we have, and it does so well, the temperature and time is accurate, and it is easy to clean and dishwasher safe. Great to have, at an affordable price

The price of this may be cheap but to me it works better than the expensive ones. 5 trays is what it comes with. They are pretty small but this thing works amazingly. 158 ferenheight is the max and the hourly goes past 11 hours so that’s always good if you had thicker leat you wanted to dehydrate

Quality product for the
Bought us a gift for my husband. He has been making venison jerky and other items in the dehydrator. It works perfectly. He enjoys being able to view the contents without opening sunset as a clear case. Wash is extremely easily. Dehydration on the various racks is very even. He definitely recommends!

An ok device for beginners
I purchased this device to dehydrate and warm raw vegan food. I made some mushroom jerky using it.It served it’s purpose. I like that it was easy to use. It has an option to adjust the time and temp. Pretty simple and straight to the point. When adjusting the time and temp, the device is a bit loud. I didn’t care for the loud beeping noise it made while adjusting and the loud being noise it made when the timer was up.The shelves are stackable and plastic. There is really not enough room to adjust between the shelves as they only stack a top each other. So, if you want to dehydrate something a little taller than the allowable space, you’ll be disappointed. I had this item for less than 30 days. Eventually, the plastic shelves began to crack. Though the shelves were fairly easy to clean, they are very fragile. It’s hard to clean the base. You can only wipe it down and not emerge in water.Initially, I liked the idea of this dehydrator because it was compact. But, I noticed that no matter what I dehydrated, my food smelled and tasted funny. I think it’s caused by the newness of the machine. Also, I realized the machine is too small and limited in what I could dehydrate. Functionally, it worked well. Overall, it’s just not for me.

Very good features for the price, but flimsy trays
This seems to be a good dehydrator for the price. Yes, there are cheaper ones available, but they have plastic trays and lack digital controls (and might not have operation manuals either).This dehydrator has digital time and temp controls. It has a helpful guide book with some recipes, operating info, time and temp suggestions for various foods. The book, sadly, seems to have been written by someone who couldn’t speak much English. Portions of it are impossible to grasp, and the reader is left guessing as to what the author might be attempting to express. That said, it is still better than most instructions accompanying cheap electronics these days, and the really important stuff, namely the time and doneness chart for various foods is great.The trays are metal screen within a clear plastic frame. These trays seem rather flimsy, like they are the thinnest possible allocation of materials. I don’t expect them to hold up for very long with regular use. I almost docked a star for that, but really, I guess I have to consider that this is comparatively a low priced item, so longevity isn’t to be expected. If I get a lot of use from this dehydrator, I will replace it later with one that has a sturdier construction.I have used it a few times already, and love being able to dehydrate foods at home. It really is worth buying if you compare the mark-up on stuff like beef jerky and dehydrated marshmallows and fruit “chips” to what it costs to make them at home with this dehydrator. It might be healthier to home dehydrate foods, especially since you will not be adding a bunch of preservatives and chemicals like most of the plastic packaged foods have.The dehydrator was also very well packaged and boxed securely for shipping. It more than exceeded expectations in that regard.Bottom line: It has a lot better features than the slightly cheaper dehydrators. It comes with instructions and has steel trays. The only compromise is that the trays don’t feel very sturdy. I would recommend this one if you’re looking for a budget priced dehydrator that has some of the features of higher end ones. But, if you think you’ll get a lot of use from it, and if longevity and sturdiness is important, then perhaps it would be best to get a more expensive and durable model.

Just plugging the product into the electricity emitted a very bad smell and annoying noises, even though it was connected to an electrical circuit with the same power as mentioned on the device.I do not recommend buying it for safety reasons.
