Does what it is supposed to do.
My wife and I have used this vacuum sealer the moment we received it and it has done a Great Job of sealing so many food products that were taking up nearly all of our cabinet space. We have sealed large mouth and small mouth jars and now, our shelf in our garage is loaded to the hilt with everything we needed to clear out of our kitchens cabinets. We have two other sealers but they are bag type and we use them a great deal as well but this sealer, jar sealer, is a prime addition to what we needed and we are extremely happy with it. I also like the idea that it is rechargeable as well, not needing an electrical outlet to use it. One other detail, I don’t mind the length of time it takes to recharge it even though it takes a very long time, several hours that is so much longer than our tablets, phones and watches to charge. This not an issue with me at all as we are able to seal everything we wanted to seal on one charge.

be careful with the removal
I like the ease of use of this product; it’s cute, charges nicely, and it sealed my jars well. I had great fun sealing up my 10 lb of macaroni noodles in mason jars. Unfortunately, there were no directions for breaking the seal of the gadget when it got stuck on a mason jar. In trying to remove it — twisting, pulling, etc. — I managed to get a nasty “pop” and thought I actually broke a rib. Turned out to be a thoracic strain, still painful after 2 weeks. I did figure out that a butter knife gently inserted between the jar and the gadget breaks the seal and removes the sealer from the jar, leaving the seal intact. Adding that to your “Directions” may save another buyer from rather a lot of pain, as well as expense of doctor appointments, Xrays, etc.

I have a lot of Mason jars, and I use those for storing dry goods.This looks the seal is tight,but not so tight it’s difficult to remove the lids. the size is suitable and easy to carry.
