Good product
My family uses these all the time for camping and backpacking trips. Taste good and easy to fix. Cost is a little high but quality.

We really enjoy MH food.
Love mountain house freeze dried food. Always top quality and great for camping or prepping! Highly recommend this product. We have all of their different choices of meals.

Fine but smokey notes
This was my first taste of backpacking food and it was definitely better than expected. I did let it sit for a little bit longer than instructions to make sure it was well rehydrated. And it did taste like scrambled eggs, but had a bit of a BBQ sauce smell to it – Must’ve been the smoky flavoring which I think overpowered the taste a bit. I would buy it again and eat it if I didn’t have fresh food to scramble .

Surprisingly good
After the “2weeks to stop the spread” became full covid lockdown, I started trying to keep a better supply of shelf stable food on hand. Bought a couple of these and tried one at work. Taste and texture isn’t bad. Good to keep on hand, especially of you catch on sale

Filling and flavorful
It’s my favorite freeze-dried camping breakfast. Mountain House and other brands make other equally good breakfast options. I happen to like this one better. YMMV

Breakfast scramble
I have had this one before and that’s why I ordered again. I will be ordering more soon. It actually tastes really good! Heats up pretty quick.

It’s okay
The meal consisted of a good amount of eggs, with some peppers, sausage bits, and shreds of potato. Since it is a freeze-dried meal once everything reconstituted it became kind of mushy. It did not affect taste but people who are sensitive to texture should keep that in mind.Aside from that the meal reconstituted fine and I did not have any crunchy bits in my meal. However, the taste of the meal itself was lackluster. It was not bad, but was not good either. It tasted quite flat and plain. It would probably be much better with some black pepper, salt and hot sauce. I would suggest adding some sort of bread to eat with this meal (tortillas, toast, etc.). Overall it wasn’t spectacular but it was edible. Would highly recommend the before mentioned modifications I listed if you decide to purchase this meal. One last thing, as with most Mountain House meals add slightly less water than it calls for and let it sit for 5ish extra minutes as well for better taste.
