Poncho quilt
Love it! Only concern it’s not water repellent at all. Will work great under a good poncho as an insulate . Definitely lightweight and warm/ doubles as a quilt- blanket. A must to have in cold weather or at a football game when chilly . Absolutely worth the money just use it wisely as to keep it dry.

Very well made, lightweight and multi-use poncho. Warm and water resistant. Packs small.
Having owned several pieces of outdoor equipment from OneTigris for some time, I felt pretty confident that this multi functional poncho would not disappoint, and it certainly hasn’t.Firstly, it packs down quite small with the included compression sack, which is well made and extremely light. If you are only intending to keep the rain off in mild or warm weather I would recommend leaving this poncho in your backpack and putting on a light rain jacket or thin poncho. This is because the thinsulate material is so effective at keeping you warm that in mild weather you will surely end up sweating inside it. It is however able to keep the rain off, but may be absorbing some, since It felt a bit heavier after going through a shower. The poncho has a warm hood, including a brow flap to keep the rain off your face, and can be cinched down to keep it from flapping too much in windy weather. You can also use it as a blanket or gather up one end with an elastic cord and use it as an overquilt, my preferred method. You can also close it up along the long side and use it as a sleeping bag if that is what you prefer. It is a bit drafty this way as there is no full length zipper, just a series of snaps. You could also easily suspend it as an improvised shelter to keep the sun or the rain off you, or use it as a pillow or seat cushion while it is stuffed in its sack. Lots of functionality for a compact and lightweight (just a pound nd a half) piece of gear. Well worth the price.

An outdoorsy snuggy
OneTigris seems to exist in the space of off-brand outdoor gear, but in the upper echelons of it. I don’t think you will see their gear at a deep backcountry camp or in a thru-hikers pack, but it is decent for a weekend warrior or car camping. My partner has a true down top quilt that is convertible to a poncho and it is great for cold mornings breaking down camp or making breakfast, I figured I would give this a shotStraight up, I don’t think I can use this as a quilt, at least not alone. Too short, too narrow, not insulated enough. I can see it being a great adjunct for a non-mummy bag or top quilt. But I always saw it as poncho first. In that regard, it’s great. The fact that it isn’t down means I worry less about loft and can really crank down on the included stuff sack, making it quite compact. At a bit over 13oz packed, it’s not ultralight but it’s not terrible. Obviously I don’t have to worry about sleeve length on a poncho, usually an issue for me, and the hood is snug enough and can be tightened more. Honestly, the simple design works great, if you aren’t moving, just hunker down and tuck in to heat up, and if you are puttering around camp it naturally has enough airflow to prevent sweating. You have plenty of mobility in it, and can adjust the hem cords as needed. It’s a great little option if you have the space and weight available for a cool autumn or brisk spring outing.

warm down to about 50 degrees…..pretty cold after that
This is a great poncho for mildly cold summer nights along the lake, backyard, etc. or fall days when the sun is still out, but when it gets below 50 degrees, forget about it. It’s also just water resistant, NOT water proof like one of their ad pictures claim. You would probably need to add a cheap poncho over it to help make it water proof. It’s better than nothing though and compresses down very small. I’ll keep it in the truck for just in case.

Prefect for Camping!
Picked up this camping poncho blanket, and it’s been an awesome addition to my outdoor gear! It’s super versatile, functioning as both a blanket and a poncho, which makes it perfect for staying warm and dry during chilly evenings around the campfire or unexpected rain showers. The material is lightweight yet surprisingly durable, and it packs down small enough to fit easily in my bag without taking up too much space. What I really love is how it’s large enough to wrap around me completely, keeping me cozy during breaks or while lounging in camp. The water-resistant outer layer provides extra protection from the elements, and the soft interior is great for comfort. Whether you’re looking to stay warm or just want an all-in-one piece for your camping trips, this poncho blanket is definitely worth the investment!

Great for camping
We camp quite a lot in our small teardrop trailer. When it’s cold at night, I get really chilly, so this ‘honcho poncho’ is perfect as an extra layer when sitting around the campfire, or sitting up in bed. It packs up really small with it’s own stuff sack, so I can easily stow it in the trailer.

All-in-One Blanket for Every Outdoor Adventure
I ordered this wearable blanket for our family camping trips, and it’s been a game-changer. Right out of the bag, the Honcho Poncho impressed me with its versatility—you can use it as a blanket, poncho, or even a light sleeping bag, which saves on packing space. The Thinsulate insulation provides fantastic warmth without feeling bulky, so even in colder, damp conditions, it kept me cozy without overheating.I love the spacious front pocket; it’s convenient for stashing small essentials like gloves or a phone. The whole setup folds down to a compact size, so it’s a breeze to bring along on any outdoor adventure. Highly recommend it to anyone who loves spending time outside, whether it’s camping, tailgating, or just sitting around the backyard.

I got this for myself for when I do outdoor craft fairs in the winter. I’m always freezing and joked about needing a sleeping bag to use at them – then I saw this wearable one, I just had to get it.When I first took it out the bag, I thought it was going to be too thin to be warm enough but I was wrong – it’s really toasty in that! I tested it by going out to walk my Mums dog in the snow, it was about -2 degrees… It was warmer than my thick fleece coat, apart from the wind whipping up the sleeves on occasions. It’s a large size – I’m on the bigger side and there was plenty of room, plus it can be undone to use as a blanket if you prefer.I did struggle to get it back in the bag afterwards but I did manage it – not very neatly but the bag compresses it so it’s a really small item to carry.

I have a flannel wearable blanket for home and sometimes take it camping for colder nights. This lightweight blanket is much better and perfect for camping. It packs much smaller and is also water resistant so it’s more versatile.I can easily wear it to bed and use it like a sleeping bag on warmer summer nights.

PRO’s:• Lightweight at 680g.• Very large and spacious with drawstring at the hood and bottom (thighs/knees depending on users height)• Provides good insulation to keep the chill off.• Water resistant. Weather beads on the surface but will eventually soak in.• Compressible with the included compression sack.CON’s:• Tradeoff for being light is that it’s not very abrasion resistant, so handle with care.• Not waterproof.
