When viewing the Security Camera images on Echo Show (Alexa) cannot control camera movement
This review is for Onforu Dual Lens Security Camera Floodlight Outdoor, $99 on amazon.Before installing this security camera on an exterior wall or overhang I thought it wise to ‘play with it’ in my basement workshop first. So I connected it to a two-prong 120 VAC plug to power it up. I then connected the camera to the main unit via the USB-C connector. I followed the instructions for pairing the camera to the Onforu App on my Android phone. No problem there. I then went onto my Alexa app and it eventually found the camera named “Security Camera”. So as paired with Alexa I tried it all out with my newly acquired Echo Show. Eventually I found that if I just said, “Alexa, show security camera” it replied “OK” then showed split screen with the fixed lens and gimbal lens images atop each other. Images as displayed on the Echo Show are a bit small, i.e. they don’t fill up the screen left-to-right. But the HD (high definition) images are very good.The only camera control I have when using my Echo Show is to turn my Echo Show microphone on or off. The microphone on the Onforu camera cannot be controlled via Echo Show. And, this is my big disappointment, I cannot articulate the gimbal lens. In the Onforu app I can set it to track motion, which it seems to do well, but can only manually control the left/right, up/down movement of the gimbal lens on the Onforu app and not on Alexa.The LED flood lights, left, middle and right only turn on when ambient light is such that the lights are needed for the camera and then, only if motion is detected.I plan to install this on the front exterior wall of my house. When I ordered this security camera my plan was to monitor my front door AND garage door entrance which are each 180 degrees apart. Since I will not be able to manually aim the gimbal lens I will just plan to aim the fixed lens at the garage and the gimbal lens at the front door.So I’m giving this security Camera a 4 star rating (taking one star away for not being able to manually aim the gimbal lens when viewing Alexa Show.

Not an easy/quick installation
If you are using this to replace an existing exterior light, this may be a simple install. But if you are wanting to install it where there is not already a floodlight, you’re going to need an electrician (or be one). The product appears to be well made, and for those using the Amazon Echo/Alexa smart home this could be a great addition. I was hoping that it would also integrate with the Google Nest smart home system (as many support both) but that does not appear to be the case

Good video quality, very bright LED light, some caveats and missed opportunities
I own more than 6 different security camera brands. This is the one with floodlight, which saves some space.What I liked:• Decent video quality overall from both lenses.• LED lights are very bright, making the drive as bright as under daylight.• The camera is relatively responsive when opening the app and seeing the video.• The lower camera can change direction on the app to aim different angles, which is very useful.• Night video is very clear as well.Some caveats and missed opportunities:• LED lights have very limited control. No way to adjust sensitivity, thus no way to control how far the light will be triggered, how long it stays on after triggering etc.• Very limited angle adjustments for the upper lens.• Video capture sensitivity is not adjustable.• Motion sensitivity is not adjustable.• The user manual is not very intuitive, and it took me quite some time to pair with and activate the camera. The camera must use 2.4 GHz network. My deco mesh combined both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz as a single network. This camera failed to recognize it. In the end, I created a new dedicated 2.4GHz network for this camera, and it worked.
