Tasty and Filling
Peak Refuel is a great way to eat on the road. The packs are small enough to fit in the bags of my motorcycle and with a little hot water, you have a good meal. Have yet to find one that does not taste good. The only thing I wish they would change is making a smaller portion since I ride solo most of the time and a meal and a dessert are a little too much for one.

Best freeze dried food, hands-down!
This company makes probably the best freeze dried meals Hands-down. The packaging is well-made and the Ziploc top stay zipped. This is one of the best dessert meals I’ve had. It’s A great tasting peach cobbler! I know that these meals are a bit on the pricey side, but it is well worth the money. I haven’t had any other freeze dried meals taste as good as these meals have approximately 10 times a year and they go with me to all my campouts. it’s quick just add some boiling water, clean up as easy as you are not using plates or bowls and the quantity is enough for probably two people, but I eat the whole thing! These meals are well worth the price.

These are actually really good. Like, buy a bunch for a holiday party and tell everyone it’s my recipe good 🤣 I bought some for an NTC rotation so I wouldn’t have to rely on MREs the whole time. Totally worth the price. 10/10 will buy again.

Taste is good but….
Hello,I have been trying out these different freeze-dried foods with my daughter to test out what we like.This Berry cobbler tastes good…..but I would add some granola to it for texture. It’s a bit mushy looking but the taste is there… so that would be my improvement on it.By adding granola, it would also stretch it out more for 2 people.This and other brands all say 2 servings it is really a serving for 1 in my opinion.So, add granola and you can feed 2 people.Not bad for freeze dried food. It does fill you up. sort of an oatmeal with berries flavor.We liked it. Peaks foods so far are good and easy to make. I like that peak uses less water than other freeze-dried foods which in an emergency water will be scarce. I will update with photos later.

If you understand how dehydrated meals work you’ll understand the consistency issues of rehydrating short bread/pound cake. That being said, I’d say it’s more of a grits like consistency with delicious flavor. No issues here, I thought it was super good. I was also hungry when I got the delivery so I ate it when I came in, I know it says two servings and it means it. I was legitimately full. I’m not a small man so that’s saying something. Quality product.

Such a good item for dessert!! Recently took this along on my backpacking trip through the Sawtooth mountain range.Prep: easy! Just add boiling water.Cleanup: even easier since you eat straight out of bag!Flavor: I absolutely loved it. If you’re expecting gourmet dessert you’re going to be disappointed. Rather, you’ll find something that tastes great and perks you up while you’re in the mountains thinking you wouldn’t be able to bring along something amazing since you had to pack light.My recommendation: BUY IT!! I will bring this and their other items on my next trip. Heck, I’d buy it and eat for dessert when I’m at home.

It’s great…but…
I like the taste, would do better without the “peach” bits to be honest. Easy to make, my biggest thing though…..it’s really just fancy oatmeal. I don’t see it being anything more than that.
