Almost Perfect!
Bought this fingerprint lock for the gym about 5 months ago and it’s been a great “quality of life” gadget!I can’t remember if I charged it as instructed when I first received it, but if I did, then that was the only time I’ve charged it so far. I go to the gym typically 5 days a week and use the lock about 4 times each visit, so roughly 400 uses over a 5-month period, probably an overestimation tbh.Today is the first day I got a low battery indication. Not as long as advertised, but again, don’t remember if I charged it up to 100% when I got it, and I still think that’s a great length of time and use to go without having to worry about charging!I only have a couple of nitpicks about it. The first is that the lock opens with the hinge on the left. I know that doesn’t seem like a big deal, and it’s not. But most other locks open with the hinge on the right and as a right-handed person, I’ve had to adjust a bit to using this lock.The second nitpick is that this lock charges with a Micro USB cable. I so wish it used USB-C! I have very few, if any, other gadgets that use Micro USB, so I feel like I have to keep an outdated cable around (and remember where it’s at) for the very few times that I need to charge the lock!

So far it’s working great
It was easy to program my finger print and it reads my thumb print and unlocks quickly. It is not a heavyweight lock and I think any adult could circumvent it. I’m using it to lock up my meds and keep my curious toddler safe. It is certainly strong enough for my purposes. The battery has lasted a few weeks now. I keep it by my bedside near an outlet where I can easily recharge it. I don’t know how practical this lock would be if it were used somewhere away from power for charging the battery. I love the thumb print feature! When my migraines hit I definitely don’t have the ability to mess with a combination lock.

Worked Well for a few Weeks then Broke
Had the lock for about a month to secure a gate on the side of the house. Very easy to set up and add fingerprints, everything worked as advertised. However…A few weeks later, stopped working while locked. Doesn’t respond to any fingerprints. Tried charging with a USB battery, can’t seem to charge. Pulled an extension cord up to the gate and used AC plug for charging, still no luck. So now my gate is stuck closed. Fortunately, I took my reciprocating saw and the lock was broken in literally one second. Good news for me but not a good sign for the lock’s quality… Unfortunately cannot recommend.

Simple; Isn’t Extra and Super Straightforward
I had lost my previous locker keys for my old lock, having me to cut the metal bar to retrieve my belongings inside. It lead me to purchasing this for the convenience of not needing any keys (preventing lost) or remembering combinations. It is PERFECT as far as simplicity goes. Registering my fingerprint was not difficult thanks to the instructions it came with. The photos I included should show visual examples; the only thing I did wish was for it to have an app, BUT still gave it 5 stars because of the price and the fact that it’s day 3 and I have yet to even charge it lol. Super great for its purpose.

I have a locker at work in the hospital I work in. It’s a small 10×10 locker and I didn’t want to hang a large lock on it or one that took 14-30 turns of a dial. This seemed perfect. I LOVE the size. No it’s not the most durable lock but I’m not storing gold bricks in my locker, just coffee pods and things like that. (Which at a nursing station might be considered as valuable!). It worked great and fast for the first few weeks. It had a persnickety moment or two, but overall was exactly what I was looking for. Then one day it unlocked and would not lock back. It’s charged, reset etc. and nothing worked. It’s not “dead” it’s still charging, holding its charge, setting fingerprints etc. but it will NOT close. I bought two so I can swap them out for charging purposes but now I’m afraid to use it for fear it might lock my stuff IN my locker and not unlock. It’s an amazing idea but poorly executed. So I’m very sad.

Expected the scanner to be kinda fidgity but it recognizes your thumb print instantly.The lock itself is quite thin, I’m sure it could be broken rather easily but this isn’t something you’d depend on for high security.Worth it.

Works very well so far, set up was not very complicate, instructions are clear. It’s very fast at recognizing my print. I cannot confirm setting up more than one set of prints as it does not apply for my needs. I’m very pleased with this and may buy another as a gift.

I bought the lock 2 days ago, registered my fingerprint and worked fine (in Dubai), and had my flight back to Cairo, and guess what, I M not able to open my Delsey bag which has my laptop and iPad.Unbelievable 👎🏻

As the title states, I couldn’t register my fingerprint on either of the 2 locks purchased, so they were returned. I have subsequently purchased the slightly more expensive version that are Bluetooth/phone app enabled, and I found setting these app enabled locks vastly easier and less time consuming.Buy the BLACK, app enabled locks.
