Fun unique game!
This is a fun new game and reminds me of Clue in a way. You get two cards and the first player to collect the tokens that matches their cards, wins. The tokens are placed randomly throughout the board and are further mixed by turning the clock, changing the places of the tokens. It also includes little challenges at the beginning like using a sticky hand to get a coin, getting a ball in a tiny bucket, etc. It’s a fun and unique game. The board is really solid and most of the parts are plastic, so it can easily take some abuse should you be playing with younger kiddos. The only complaint I have is that the compartments are hard to open. They should have included a tool or just made them easier to open and close. I had to use a pair of scissors (it was the closest thing to me at the time). I think with time and use it may get easier.

I’m thankful for all the compartments for all the pieces

Fun game to play once – need a screwdriver!
Kinda of a fun game to pay once. The concept is you are a “character” unfairly framed and stuck in detention. You who framed you and how, you need to collect the cards (WHO and WHY) to win. First, you need to get your character out of detention by successfully completing 1 of 5 games, or selecting the hall pass from the gym. Then you roll to move and get to other rooms in the school, where you can open trap doors to gather the clue cards. Each time someone moves, you rotate the clock, which turns the boxes below the playing board, so the clues move. Similar to Clue. One of the biggest problems if the game board “doors” to access the boxes below, are very tough to open. We had to use a screwdriver to open them. Getting items out is also tough, as the boxes are sized to fit the pieces, but not get them out. Again, had to use a screwdriver several time.Other problems are: There is no randomization for the games to escape detention, so you can choose the same game each time, or find an easy one someone else chose. Also, for smarter kids, it can be easy to predict where their clues will be.

Fun game, easy to learn and play, could use some improvements
So, I got this game at the the request of my 9 and 11 year old daughters. They watch Rebecca Zamolo, love games, and it looked like it could be fun. We have played it a few times, now, and here are our thoughts….Game play:The concept of the game is pretty easy. All players start out in detention, and you have to escape by winning a challenge, then find the pieces that match your who and why cards to win the game. The challenges are fun, and include bouncing a ball in a cup, catching a plastic coin with a sticky hand, and more.Once out of detention, you roll the dice, move, and if you land on a space with a door that opens you look inside to see if it holds a who or what token that you need. Then, rotate the clock that mixes all the pieces up in the door, and your turn is over.My girls had a blast playing this game. It moves quickly, and is easy to learn.Quality of the game:The game board is unique, as it is a plastic school that open up to reveal the game board. And, it has little doors in the board that open. Everything seems durable, and we’ll made. But, the doors are very hard to open. We had to use the base of our game pieces to pop them open. You can’t play the game unless you can open the doors, so this does present a huge problem. It also took us quite a while to figure out where the spaces were on the game. The instructions don’t give you a clue on that, but we figured out that each little floor tile represents a space.Overall:We do enjoy playing the game, love the concept and the uniqueness of the board. However, due to the issues with the doors, I did only rate this 3 stars, as that is a major part of the game play and does make it difficult to enjoy it fully.

Fun game for kids but the directions are hard to figure out.
My kids love this game. The game is very sturdy and the board is made of a hard plastic with little mini games as you move around the board trying to get out of detention. The directions are not vey clear on moving around the board and we had to watch a video to figure it out but this game is well made and my kids do enjoy playing it. It may be difficult to understand for kids under 10 to play. I took off one star for the lack of clear game instructions.

Hilarious and Well-made Toy
What a cute idea to create a game about being put on detention in grade school! This game has a board with a solid plastic base. It has lots of little cubbyholes with little doors where the pieces hide. It is really fun and funny! It is also quite unique. I highly recommend it!

Very Very disappointed
I’m sorry but we had to return this game immediately! The flaps inside the game could not even be opened by an adult!! We needed to use a tool to open the sections. The Board games does not even come with clear spaces we did not know how to navigate through the board. The concept is very nice, but the execution of this games fails. Was very hopeful but disappointed indeed!!

Not the same old
This a nice spin on a role and move game. It is well constructed and the pieces are ok. Surprised they are made from cardboard when the board is heavy plastic. I like it takes what could be a boring spin on clue and makes it more exciting by having the portion of the board underneath spin moving the pieces you are looking for.I do agree with others that the sections are hard to open. I was able to do without needing something else, but I doubt that my kids could do it. I wonder if there was a pull tab if that would help. It is a challenge although I am hoping over time it gets easier. My daughter is happen. She’s been a Rebecca fan for a few years now.
