Work Great for our Squad’s Communication
I bought these Radio’s with the hopes they would be effective for Squad Communication, and they work perfectly for it.Me and my buddies play the sport of Airsoft. We attend Military Simulations, as well as host our own small games. Squad communication is essential for putting a plan into action, and these Radio’s made that easy.The custom earpiece is awesome, fitting onto the ear with ease and staying in place well. The radios themselves work great, outside and inside. Our first field test was in an old factory, and the comms came through loud and clear no matter how far apart, or what section of the factory we were in. The battery life was great as well, lasted the entire operation.We’re going to be checking to see soon if we can edit the frequency in the radio itself as they weren’t very compatible with other radios. This shouldn’t be hard though. However, this shouldn’t put you off buying them, they work great.All in all, these radios are worth the money. And here, its cheaper than most other radios on the market. Ease of access, good battery life, and great sound.

Not commercial quality but for the price you are not going to beat these
For under 10 bucks each, I caught a lightning deal for pack of 10, you are not going to beat these little radios. These come programmed GMRS which does require an FCC lic. in USA but simply go online and apply, pay the 75 bucks and you are good to go or, reprogram (purchase cable separate download software for free) to FRS and you won’t need a lic. I have been an Armature radio operator for over 15 years built and repaired radios, these are worth the 14 bucks regular price now understand they are not commercial quality and as such the ruggedness is not the same but for occasional use like camping, hunting hiking around the farm you are not gonna beat them. Programming is a snap. As bonus which I did not anticipate per the specs you CAN program them to operate a repeater, which means you can program the Transmit and Receive to different frequencies and different privacy tones. This for me was a big plus as I have two GMRS repeaters up. Still to be proven is the distance, now remember these are UHF 460 range and as such are “line of sight” signals. I’ll will be happy with 3 miles. I have not yet put them on the scope to check the alignment of the radio (the truthiness of the freq it transmits on and how sensitive the receiver is. If I remember I will post those findings later. All in all a great little moderate/occasional use radio. The real notable diff between these and commercial grade is the tone of the built in speaker but that’s okay for what they are still able to copy transmissions just fine, even my old ears! Another thought, they come factory programmed with a voice guide, when you turn it on it audibly states, on and when you change channels it audibly states channel number annoying and was the first change I made in programming, turn that nonsense off. If you need a portable for occasional use you wont go wrong with these right out of the box. Update: bench test on one radio, out of the box it was with in FCC specs so that’s awesome.

After long debate and multiple views and research these two radios were the best price and get for the purpose I need them for. Fast shipping and exactly as described. These radios are loud and clear and are simple to use. A litter smaller than I thought but very light. Some assembly required but very easy to put together. Great price and quality.

Nothing but problems with chargers since day one and 2 antenna caps done came off…they sent 2 more witch is great but 2 other charges stopped and one clip broke.just not ordering these again

Los equipos presentan mucha interferencia, todo el tiempo, se corta la comunicación, nunca había comprado esa marca, pero en realidad es muy mala eh comprado de otras marcas y si había un poco de interferencia pero con estos equipos es mucho mas de lo que había presenciado.
