IDEAL DURING THE WINTER: This salamander heater includes 1 forced air propane heater, regulator, and 10-foot hose. For optimum performance, it is recommended to use a 100-pound propane tank with this heater (please note, propane tank and fuel are not included with the heater and must be purchased separately). Smaller tanks can be used for limited run times.

Great heater!!! It was 38 degrees in my 2 car garage with 10 x 16 room. I had it on high for about 20 minutes and the temp had risen to 68 degrees and i had to turn it to lowest setting for about the last 5 minutes and finally cut it off as it was too hot to work in there.

Lots of heat, but lots of noise
This unit definitely puts out the heat. There are a couple of problems for our patio application. The fan blows the heat, but it is extremely loud. There has to be a quieter fan that could be used. If you’re putting this in a space where conversation is desired, you’ll be raising voices over it. While there is a switch to adjust the heat output, there is only one fan speed … on or off … not adjustable and not the best design. Giving 3 stars for the heat output, but only 3 because it’s not a conversation-friendly device for our outdoor patio application.
