Peace of Mind
I installed this in my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 as my doomsday vehicle. If and when an EMP attack hits, I wanted it in the most durable vehicle I own. It acts like it’s working but outside of that, I don’t know how I can test for an EMP attack to certify that it’s actually working. All I can do is say that I installed it as per the instructions and fingers crossed. It looks like a really well made device.

Surge protect your vehicle!
Everyone knows about the importance of a home surge protector to prevent power surges from damaging expensive computer equipment. It’s just as important for your car for a variety of reasons. Not long ago, I was helping a friend jump start his vehicle and during the process he experienced a power surge and blew out his stereo. He understood what was going on and wasn’t mad about it but with this device he could have significantly minimized the danger.It’s incredibly easy to install. If you can connect battery terminals you can install this device. It’s well worth the investment just for the peace of mind. Highly recommended!

Better Safe than Sorry
Will we ever encounter an EMP attack? Well, I don’t think anyone can completely rule it out. Protecting at least one car in the family might be a wise thing to do, just in case! There is also a possibility that there could be a Carrington event from solar activity. If you haven’t heard about one of those, look it up. I’m not sure how it will affect cars, but I think it might, and another such event will probably happen. So again, this device might save the day!

Simple Installation and Peace Of Mind.
A very easy to install vehicle EMP protection device, that looks ot modeled after the Siemens 140s or similar models. Installation was fast, needing only 3 wires to be connected, 1 to battery Positive, 1 to battery Negative, and 1 to a good chassis ground. Small size of the unit allows for many placement options depending on your vehicle, mine was able to fit right next to the battery and I used an existing bolt to mount this on to. WHile I have no real way to test this against an EMP, it does give me peace of mind knowing it is there and hoping my car will start and run fine in the event we have and EMP type of event.

Great Protection
This is a really great device for EMP protection of your computer-run vehicle. I purchased this product for my 2018 Toyota Tundra. It was relatively easy to install, following the instructions, and it’s small enough to mount just about anywhere you have a small bit of space in your engine compartment. Overall installation took about 30 minutes and the device immediately turned on once I reconnected the battery. This device brings me peace of mind, knowing that the electronics are protected throughout the life of my truck. Great product.

The Vehicle EMP Protection device is easy to install, connecting directly to your car’s battery. While I can’t say for certain if it’s working as intended (since I’m not testing it under extreme conditions), the concept of protecting my car’s electrical components from lightning, solar flares, and surges gives me peace of mind. It’s reassuring to know there’s something in place to safeguard against potential damage to critical systems under the hood.
