Works great
They work great, even through the building and across the street. Very clear audio. The only thing I don’t like is the volume control. The lowest setting is still pretty loud for the FM radio, very loud for FM radio static, and PIERCINGLY loud for the static from the WX radio (which the radio mode defaults to). But still, it’s better for it to be too loud at minimum than too quiet at maximum.Batteries seem to last good so far. I haven’t used them much yet other than for a few walkietalkie test rounds and a bit of radio time, but they’re both still full power. My cellphone can’t do that unless the screen is off 100% of the time.I bought them specifically for power outages. I turn mine on when I take walks or go outside in general, so if the power goes out when I’m not home (and still in the area) my mom can turn hers on and let me know about the power. She is on floor 3 and I am on 2, so it’s also great for inside during an outage: Even if my cellphone works (depending on severity it may or may not work), her house phone will definitely not.Works great, very good price, does not need mains power to charge the battery. This is a great peace-of-mind product. We get maybe 2 power outtages a year that last under 10 minutes, but I need the assurance I get from products like this that a multi-hour power outage will have minimal impact on my at-home routine and comfort.

WX not working & tested range was 0.5 miles
Great concept, but range only went to about 0.5mile when tested. Also the WX wasn’t working well

Short Range multi functional Walkie
This little solar/ lithium/ kinetic powered FM, walkie talkie, flashlight, power bank, weather radio came in handy during a power outage after a hurricane! Fully charged in about 4 hrs. Worked in light rain. We listened to local TV news on FM stations and used it to charge our phones/ tablet a bit, as well as find things in the dark. The range is not amazing for PTT (1/2 – 1/3m) but it does the job for short ranges. Plus it has optional encryption, which is cool. We only received one WX station, but it was enough for our purposes. The speaker is surprisingly good for FM radio, as small as it is. We did not use long term, but it’s a good little thing to have around for emergencies. The battery did not die using the FM radio overnight to drown out generator noise. Although, I wish it had C type charger instead of mini-USB but we have adapters. IDK about the 2.5mm aux out bc we didn’t use. This is not standard to USA headphone aux 3.5mm. Using as a power bank the units did get warm but not hot. I don’t think it would fully charge a phone, but for an emergency you could get probably 15-20% juice. Cool and fun little gadget. Surprised me for the price ~35. Functions like a more expensive unit. Feels well made.

One would not change all the way
One of the walkie talkies would only charge half way. Will need to return.

Super fun to play around with. Nice to have around.
When I got these out of the box, I felt like a kid again using a walkie-talkie to talk to people. I haven’t done that since I was maybe 10 or so. The FM/AM radio feature is pretty cool. The antenna though is quite underwhelming which makes the signal pretty shotty. Albeit that isn’t really it’s main feature I was after. The NOOA radio feature is great too. In a pinch I feel ready to tackle an outage or emergency in my area – whether or not that is the case is a different story. These are made out of plastic but feel like they can withstand a couple hard drops before really breaking. Simple and fun gadgets to have. Solar panel charges this thing in maybe a day in the sun. Absolutely recommended. I did not get to test the range of the walkie-talkies however.

A multipurpose radio for sure!
I had my expectations set pretty low before these radios arrived, but upon unboxing and going over the radios I was impressed. These are FRS radios with the usual 22 channels so some are shared with GMRS. Unfortunately, there is no repeater capability with these radios. It does make up for it with all the additional features. The overall build quality is durable feeling with a fair amount of weight for each radio. The flashlight at the bottom is brighter than I expected having used other flashlights on other radios. Solar and hand crank charging is a plus especially in locations where power outages are frequent. Not to mention that the radio is also a power bank for other devices. The radio and weather radio are clear when a decent signal is found. I haven’t tested the range yet, but I’m assuming these are more than likely 2w transmit radios at most, but the speaker is loud, I mean really loud. These radios were clearly built with a purpose and I’d have to say they fit the bill quite nicely.
