the radios work well for close proximity, for example the same neighborhood. we tested the distance and after about a half mile, we lost communication. the radios are well put together but very light. they probably would not withstand too many falls. in my opinion, they would work well for retail stores, to give your kids while they are out playing, or light security work in say a nightclub for example. well worth $40.

Wow, don’t let the price fool you- They really work.
I saw someone carruying these walkie talkies at my lst cruise and I asked him if they worked for him. He told me he had no issues and that worked even from inside his stateroom. I bought them a week ago and tried them while walkign my dog. My daughter stayed at home and I was able to communicate super clearly 3-4 bliocks away. The sound is crystal clear. I am looking forward to taking them to my next cruise to see how they perform. I know they would do well for a theme park visit, a shoppiung center, a visit to Walmart to keep track of little ones, etc. These walkie takies are a great value for the money. These are only 3-mile radios. Day 2 The bottom charging unit on one stopped working. Going with Cobra PX650I can’t beat the price, and to have four it’s all we needed before selling the home. Regretting not having these during renovations, but alas we will always keep these for future use. Bought, because a cat has Cancer and trying to be more quiet in the home that’s over 4,000 sq ft inside and we also will use them in The Green Mountains. Will update if any issues! Thanks!

Good performance, poor battery life, clip is finnicky
They work well and transmit audio just fine. However the battery life is very poor compared to name brand products, and there is no charging port (you have to remove the battery to charge it). Also, the belt clip is brittle and easily broke during first use. Decent value for the money, but if you plan on using them a lot I’d get something higher quality.
