No chlorine smell no bad taste
Easy peasy install. Appears to be leak free. The water is remarkably better tasting and it has lost the smell of chlorine. For the price it’s worth the buy. I didn’t do any other tests. Don’t know that I care what is or isn’t being filtered besides chlorine and whatever else is in my city water that makes it taste funky, it tastes crisp now.

The product is as advertised- easy to install and works as expected. Turn cold water on and filter water comes out. I used to use the Brita system which was a bit time consuming but now I have the convenience of the sink faucet. I like it so much I’m installing one in my son’s apartment…

Read My Tips for best Flavor — Good Quality Filter with Long Life
I’ve had multiple reverse osmosis filters and a few different in-sink and under-sink filters in my life. I like the RO stuff the best for flavor so far, but I’m always terrified that ridiculous amount of shark-bite 1/4 tubing on the cheaper RO setups is going to leak (and for good reason, they do tend to leak), and RO filters are more expensive to set up and maintain. This was easy peasy to set up and the replacement filters are cheap and easy too.We tried this one because of the value and the gallons rating on the filter. It works well, especially for the value, but I have a few tips to help you have the best experience.1-When you install, you’ll want to make sure you have the right tubes and lengths. If you don’t know the different between the different types of threads (comp vs npt) and when to use or not use plumbers tape (NOT with NPT fittings), make sure to do your homework first (youtube, home depot, or similar is great) or hire a plumber so you don’t have an expensive leak problem waiting to happen.2-The 1/8″ metal fittings that go into the filter housing need to be put in pretty firmly, then pulled on less firmly to ensure they are set tightly. If they pop out, they weren’t in far enough.3-We find that the first 5-15 seconds of water flow has more of a chlorine flavor after a few hundred gallons have gone through the filter. It’s not super strong, but running the water about 15 seconds before filling up our water bottles makes a noticeable difference (almost no chlorine flavor. This is probably because we have our drinking water on its own separate faucet (this one, which works fine: Kablle Drinking Water Faucet, Reverse Osmosis Faucet, Water Filtration Faucet, Drinking Water Purifier Faucet, Matte Black, B10) and we don’t put as many gallons through it every day as the product is designed to deal with. The instructions tell you to run the water so much every day to keep the filter in prime condition.

This filter is easy enough to install if you have some decent room to work under your sink. Find a spot to mount it where it can reach the hoses hook ups and just use the included template to mount it. Hook up the hoses, then, delicious water! It does a very good job of filtering, better than a Brita. Coffee tastes better than ever. Highly recommended!
